Midnight Kiss

I'm in the school hall, standing at the back of the room with a bottle of vodka in my hand. With it being school I knew they'd only have shitty drinks so I brought myself a proper drink before I arrived.

Frank stands near the wall, biting his lip before spotting me, he then walks over to me and taps me on the shoulder.

I turn around as I feel a tap on my shoulder, smiling brightly as I see its Frank. "Frankie!"

"Hey!" Frank grins widely at me before biting down on his lip.

"How you enjoying the party?"

"Hm, yeah. It's alright yeah." Frank shrugs a little, still smiling.

I giggle softly and smiles. "Good. Y'know I've noticed you've been a lot happier since I broke up with Bert."

"Oh.. I have..?" Frank blushes a little and looks down.

"Yeah. And Jeph, he's acting happier. He's normally depressed all the time.. Is something going on?"

"Oh.. Uh.. Not that I know of.." Frank bites down on his lip.

"Oh okay." I smile softly then Jeph walks over to me and Frank. "Frank can I have a little word with you.. In private?"

"Uh.. Yeah, sure.." Frank nods and bites his lip.

We all stand there awkwardly for a few seconds then I realise I'm not wanted there. "Oh.. Uh sorry.. I-I'll just... Be over there.." I bite down on my lip and walks away.

Jeph then takes a step closer to Frank and whispers to him. "So are you gonna do it?"

"Uh.. Yeah, I'm still nervous though.." Franks looks down in shame then looks back up as Jeph speaks.

"You can do it, Frank. I know you can. It's midnight in six minutes." Jeph states. A huge grin on his face with excitement.

"Yeah, okay. I'm gonna do this.." Frank smiles a little and nods.

"C-can I ask you something?"

"Course, anything."

"Do you like love him...?"

"I.." Frank blushes. "I think.. I do.."

"Oh my god, that is so cute! Go. Go right now and kiss his face off." Jeph demands with a slight laugh.

"Okay. I'm going, I'm going!" Frank grins as he looks for me once again, when he sees me, he walks over to me.

I see him approach me and it makes me blush slightly. "H-hey Frank.." I bite down on my lower lip and smiles softly.

"Hey.. Again.." Frank laughs softly. "So.. It's almost midnight.."

"Y-yeah.. It is..." I blush bright red.

"So uh.." Frank looks down at the ground as he slowly shuffles closer to me, almost right up against me.

People begin to count down from 10 as it is near midnight. I then tilt Frank's chin up so he's looking at me.

"10! 9! 8! 7! 6! 5! 4! 3! 2! 1!" Everyone shouts and as they get down to one Frank leans forward, pressing his lips to mine softly. I don't kiss back for a second but then I wrap my arms around Frank's neck and I kiss him back. Frank wraps his arms around my waist as he smiles into the kiss, squeezing around me. My heart pounds rapidly and I kiss Frank with more passion. "Mmm.. Frankie..."

Frank moves one of his hands up as he runs his fingers through my hair, kissing me with even more passion. I pull back slightly and smiles at Frank. "W-wow.. You're a good kisser..."
