2 weeks later
*Amanis POV*
I haven't heard from Kamiah and Shawn since prom and I'm worried. I called her, but her phone would go straight to voicemail. Shawns too. I don't know what to do.
I asked Dixon and Trevor if they knew anything but they didn't. *doorbell rings*
I opened the door and it was Kamiah. "MIAH! Oh my god! I was soo worried about you. I tried calling you but it went straight to voicemail. Come in." I said closing the door.
"Mani..." she said sitting on my bed with watery eyes.
"What's wrong ?"
"I think I might be pregnant."
I didn't know what to say I was so shocked. Kinda happy but worried.
"Wait. How did it happen ?"
She took a deep breath and started speaking. "That one night, a few days after prom, Shawn took my virginity. But he forgot to wrap up. I didn't realize what was happening while it was happening. The next day, at my house, I felt weird and threw up pretty much the whole time. I told my parents I probably ate something bad. I called Shawn to ask him if he wrapped up and he said he forgot but made sure to pull out. I told him he didn't and that I might be pregnant. He wasn't very happy about it and said he wasn't ready for a kid and broke up with me. I didn't leave the house ever since.
I know, two weeks. I just couldn't deal with anything. Of course my parents asked questions, I told them Shawn broke up with me, but I didn't tell them why. Mani, I need you please you have to take the pregnancy test with me." She was crying her eyes out.
I hugged her, "Of course. I'd never leave you. You're my sister. My bestfriend. I won't leave you and your little one."
She grabbed her purse and took out three pregnancy tests and walked too the bathroom. A few minutes later she came back and sat on my bed.
I just don't get why he would leave her. I thought he loved her.

"They're all positive." I told her.
I could see the smile that appeared on her face, but it quickly faded.
"I'm gonna have to tell my parents." she said putting her jacket back on.
"Is it okay if I tell Dixon and my dad about... Your pregnancy ?" I asked
"Yeah, my parents would've told your dad anyways so..."
I walked her to the door and we said our goodbyes.
I called Dixon and told him to come over so I could tell him the news.
All I can do is be there for her and be the best friend ever.
