Week five

Irish pov

*2 a.m.* the clock read.

Maybe water would help.

I quietly jogged down the stairs; trying not to wake the house. Once I reached the bottom step I heard a crack come from the kitchen. My heart dropped to my ass. For the first time I was feeling anxious. I pulled my gun from behind my back and pointed it infront of me.

I turned the corner and pointed it to the person sitting on the counter. He lifted his head from in front his phone screen and looked at me with shocked eyes.

Vex

"You scared me." I chuckled.

He gave me a weak smile before shutting his phone off, and hopping off the counter.

"You were scared? Must be sick."

"Oh haha. For your information Mr. Comedian, I couldn't sleep. What Liam said was keeping me up."

Water filled my glass as I sighed. The feeling of a cold arm wrapping around my waist sent shivers down my spine. The scent of his cologne filled my nose. My nerves started to calm as he pulled me closer.

"Everything is gonna be okay baby girl." He whispered.

"I thought I told you not to call me that."

"What are you? My boss?"

I let out a giggle. He used his free hand to turn me around. I was now facing him. He pressed his head against mine, giving me a sense of comfort.

No one has ever made me feel like this

My eyes remained closed.

"I hate you for making me want you." I sighed.

His arms pulled me closer; making my breath hinge.

"Don't fight it shorty."

His lips pressed against mine.

Fire works..

No wait..

Gunshots!

The sound of the kitchen window shattering due to gunshots, made Vex push me to the floor. He landed on the side of me before we pulled out our guns and shot back. Ten more shots were heard before whoever was in the car sped off.

"Are you hurt?" Vex took my hand and pulled me up.

I shook my head no. Everyone rushed down the stairs and look at us with wide eyes.

"Some dick head just did a fucking drive by on us!" I screamed.

Sir rushed to me, attempting to calm me down.

"We're not safe here anymore." I sigh

"Irish wait!"

I sped walked to my room and grabbed my suit case.

"Irish stop!" Sir yanked my arm, making me pull back in frustration.

"I never wanted to be a stupid mafia boss! I-I'm scared. I never wanted to admit it, but I'm terrified! What if I never see them again? Cyrus left me to do all this alone and I can't handle it!"

I began to break down. Sir held me in his arms as I sobbed.

"Irish, you are the strongest person I know. You got this. We all got this.."

He took his index finger and wiped my tears. I gave him a weak smile as I wiped the rest.

"Liam told me he saw seven guys take our parents."

"Seven? But Derek said-"

"I know. But apparently there's two more. We have to go somewhere else. I can't put everyone at risk by staying here. We've lost so much already.."
_______________

"Guys listen. We can't stay here anymore. We're too exposed now and need to relocate. I'm tired of waiting. We need to find out parents."

"Where will we go?" Belle asked.

I gave Sir a look. He nodded and took my hand as I turned back to them.

"There's only one place safe enough. One place no one knows about."

"Unfortunately, no one but us knows the location. Meaning you'll all be blind folded on the way there." Sir explains.

Once they understood, everyone, except Vex, went to pack.

"You okay?"

He pulled me closer to him, hugging me. I let out a sigh. I wasn't okay. I've never felt so stressed and out of control. As much as I wanted to hug Vex back and tell him how I loved the idea of him being here for me, I couldn't.. the stubborn part of me didn't want to look weak.

I pushed him off of me, wiping my tear away.

Vex pov

"Pack your stuff. We leave in 20." And with that, she ran upstairs.

This girl...

It's so painfully obvious she's struggling with all this. She's so scared of coming off as weak. If anyone here is weak, it's me. Weak for her....

______________

As we all crowded into the van, Sir handed us blindfolds. We covered our eyes; even Derek.

Before I put it on, I looked at Irish. Tear stains on her cheeks and red eyes. I just wanted to hug her and tell her everything was going to be ok.. but I couldn't. That would be a lie. I had no idea what was going to happen. I knew she couldn't handle anymore of this. If I could help I would. But she won't let me...

Isaac pov

Five weeks.. I haven't seen my wife or Irish in five weeks.

I couldn't move.. hands tied to the pole dangling from the ceiling. Blood dripped down my now ripped shirt from the torture.

"Hey! Where is he? I want to talk to him now!" I yelled.

"Shut the fuck up. The boss ordered for you to stay here until he gets back."

"You son of a b-"

"Don't do anything stupid now... Wouldn't want anything to happen to your precious baby girl now would you?" The guard smirked.

"If anything happens to my daughter or my wife, you all are dead."

Before he could respond, the large metal doors opened slowly. In walked them.. they smirked as they saw me.

"Let me go!"

As we pulled up to the cabin, I told everyone they could remove the cloth from their eyes.

Stroking my hair, Sir asked if I was ready. To which I nodded before we all got out of the car. I knew I was nervous to be here for one specific reason. I was determined to find my parents and if it meant doing this, then so be it.

We approached the door and I hesitantly knocked. Moments later, the door opened.

"Irish?"

"Hi Cyrus...."
