Carol and I help set up everything for dinner; plates, cutlery, napkins and cups. Patricia and Maggie are serving up dinner just as we finished setting the table. We call everyone for dinner and we all sit down to eat. Carol calls out for Lori again down the hall from the kitchen. "She's not in there." Maggie calmly said to Carol. "Then where is she?" Carl asks looking scared. "I don't know bud. I'll go outside and look for her. Stay here okay?" Shane says as he gets up from the table and walks outside. "I'm worried about my dad, and Hershel, Glenn too." Carl says looking at Patricia. "I'm sure they are all okay. They should be back soon. We should start eating before it all gets cold." Patricia smiles and continues to serve us all food when Shane comes back in. "Daryl said Lori asked him to go get Rick, Glenn and Hershel but he said no, so she's apparently gone to get him herself." He says as he turns to leave again. "I'm gonna go bring her back." Shane walks out and we are all concerned about Rick, Glenn and Hershel. "Eat up everyone. Everything will be okay." Carol says as she started eating.

It's been about 20 minutes now and no sign of anyone returning, until Shane and Lori rock up. "Where's Rick?" Lori's face is lit up from excitement only to be ruined shortly after. "He's not here Lori... I had to lie and get you back here." "You lied to me!? Are you for real!?" She started yelling at Shane, and I decided to leave the house. I didn't want to hear any of this, I wanted to see what Dale is up to in the RV. "Hey Dale, anything happen yet?" I say as I climb the ladder of the RV. "Oh! Hi Alice. No nothing yet. I can hear yelling from the house, is that Lori and Shane?" He looks at the house. "Yeah. Shane lied to her and said Rick was already back. And obviously he isn't so she's pissed." I say as I lay down on the roof. "I see. I would be pissed off too if I was Lori. How's things with you and Daryl?" He looks at me laying down. "I.. I don't really know and I'd rather not talk about it.." I sit up and sigh. "Oh, I'm sorry. Just trying to make conversation." Dale sounded sad when he responded to me. "It's okay, I just don't want to talk about that right now. We can talk about something else if you like?" I smiled at him, I don't want to make anyone upset, too many of our group are upset and they've gone through enough as it is. "I'd love to. What should we talk about? Oh I know, what did you do before all of this madness started?" Dale looks excited to finally have a conversation with someone who is willing to listen and talk back to him. "I used to be an artist. I finished my collage degree in art. I mainly did portraits of people, but I was also enrolled in several marital arts courses. Unfortunately I only just started them not long before all this happened so I'm not very good yet. What about you Dale?" I finshed my sentence and then noticed a car pull up to the farm. We both look at the car, Rick, Glenn and Hershel get out of it. Dale and I make our way down the RV ladder one after the other and rush inside to see them.
