Hershel Needs To Come Home, Now!

I'm currently walking around the farm trying to gather my bearings on what just happened. Shane let all the walkers out of the barn, I went inside to avoid it all and then I hear gunshots for a while then it all stopped. But after about 20 seconds I hear one more final gunshot, I heard a lot of yelling and crying before Hershel, Maggie, Beth and Patricia walked in very upset. I tried to comfort them, and after a while Hershel disappeared. Beth went into shock and isn't responding, I found out Sophia was in the barn and that's why the final shot was made. I'm trying to process this all, I'm not concentrating on where I'm going and I ended up at the barn after the walkers bodies were removed. I stand there for a while, just looking at the ground and the barn trying to picture everything that happened. I can hear someone walking up behind me, I slowly turned around to see Dale wave at me. I smiled and waved back and walked towards him. "How are you holding up? I noticed you weren't with the group when the gunfire happened?" "I can say the same for you, you weren't involved with it either. But yeah I guess I'm alright, worried about Carol and Beth currently." I look at the house then back at Dale. "Uh, yeah. You know I didn't want anything like this to happen. I just wanted everyone to know about it and we shouldn't touch the barn because it's Hershel's property. I can tell he's really pissed off with Shane, we all are. Especially after he hit you." "Oh yeah that. I knew something was up with him.." I see him walking in the distance, not sure what he's up to but I'm watching him like a hawk. "I need to tell you about something I saw a while back." I nod, "Yeah?" he looks at Shane in the distance then back at me. "I saw him point a gun at Rick a while ago when we just got here and we were looking for Sophia. I reckon he would of killed him.." I eyes widen and I spoke softly. "Because he's in love with Lori and Rick is in the way!?" Dale nods at me. "But you have to keep it a secret. So no telling Daryl okay?" "Yes of course. This stays between us."

Dale and I start to walk back to the house, talking about life before all this happened. I see Daryl leave the house and he started walking towards me. We met half way and Dale waves goodbye and went to the RV. "Hey, everything okay Daryl?" "Yeah, why wouldn't it be?" he looks at me dead in the eyes, he looks upset. "I know you're upset, just talk to me.." "I'm fine! I don't need your help, or anyones help! Leave me alone, stop following me." He storms away, I follow him anyway. "I said leave me alone!" he continues to walk away getting faster and faster. I still followed him and kept up the pace with him. He makes it to his little camp area, squirrel skins hanging up by rope between two trees. He turns around in anger. "Why did you follow me? I said leave me alone! That usually means you don't follow me and you leave me alone!" he yells at me as I get closer to him and hug him tightly. Daryl isn't pleased with my hug and pushes me off him, I land on the ground now covered in dirt. My eyes tear up as I look at him, he realised what he just done and tries to help me up." Don't touch me, I'm fine." I say as I get up off the ground and walk away from him.

I'm in the RV and lock myself in the bathroom and cry for a little while before Carol comes into the RV and hears me crying. "Alice? Is that you in there?" she speaks softly. "Ye.. Yeah.. Do you need the bathroom Carol?" I say as I unlock the door and opened it. "Why are you crying? What happened?" "I'm okay, Daryl and I had a fight... But it's fine." I smile at her. "Do you want me to talk to him?" "No its okay. I promise it's fine." "Okay, well we are setting the table for dinner soon, I really hope Rick and Glenn come back with Hershel" she said as we walked out of the RV together meeting Dale just outside the entrance. We all walk in and Lori walks out, I don't know where she's going but I honestly couldn't care at this point.
