[I'm in dire need of fluff right now]

"Are you done yet?"

I cowered away at the edges of the pale-faced table, away from the lights, away from the cold and most of all... from them. "sigh... It's no use, we can't get anything out of him with his fear of us."

And with that, the giant exited the room with a clang of the metal door. And with him out of the room, it was one thing less to worry about... for now. But with the constant dread that any giant may walk through those doors again, my heart ached as it felt the constant pangs of fear, anxiety and most of all, sadness.

I'm sure the people on the other side of that accursed double-sided window are having a laugh, looking at something so pathetic, so insignificant as the piece of worthless morsel I am. But ugh... the blinding lamp from the ceiling sure did carry my mind elsewhere...

creak... oh no...

"Hello there... Sir... Jace?" No... why, why's there another one of them... "Alright, I know you're scared but trust me, we only want to help you okay? We just need your cooperation so we can catch the people who... killed your family."

..."He-help?" She nods her head as she took a seat on one of the chairs in the room. "Help??" She nods her head again, patiently.

"Well.... I-I frankly I-I don't e-even know where to start...oh, right... maybe I should tell you about the time your damn station ignored OUR CALLS FOR HELP?!!!" ....

"Where was your so called 'help' then huh?... I swear on my heart and soul that I don't even think your responders even gave two sh-shits about us when we phoned the emergency service!" Her eyes closes momentarily before staying as poised as a soulless soldier.

"My... my... my dad had been... killed in front o-of m-my very own eyes! I SA- cough cough cough I SAW MY SISTER GET FUCKING EATEN BY...by... by... them. So do- sniff tell me. Why even bother helping- sniff when nobody was ever dispatched anyways." I crumpled unto the ground as my legs gave away.

"So... what now?" I looked at her lifelessly in her eyes.

"Thank you for your input Jace. The information you've given will be used against them in court but for now... oh wait, could you tell me the name of the responder who picked up your distress call?" Her eyes maintained its professionalism, and not a single shred of pity was present.

"N-no, but he sounded like a man." I think...

"I'll take note of that... now then, would you kindly please climb unto my hand?" W-wait.

"W-what? Where are y-you taking me?" She smiles, obligatorily. "...F-fine."

And with that said, I slowly walked over to her... slowly. It was so slow, I thought that I'd piss her off somewhat but... she still remained as patient as ever. "Take your time..."

Reaching her hand on the table, I timidly grabbed onto one of her fingers as I hoisted myself up unto the squishy surface of her palm. But as I stood on her hand, my legs quickly gave away once again... for I had never, EVER been on a giants hand and not to mention; I had an IMMENSE fear of heights. So when she had brought her second hand around I silently thanked her, and cursed at myself for doing so a second later. What am I doing? Sitting on one of their kinds' hands.

"Alright, this is going to be a little bumpy okay?" I nodded nervously before she started standing up. And at that moment I almost regretted the decision I had taken to get carried on the hand of a giant.

As my head swung around in circles, nausea kicked in as the altitude from which the ground and I had could clearly kill me if I ever fell. And so I slumped pathetically against her caged fingers before giving up entirely and laying completely on her hand to try and ease the pain. But before I could embarrass myself even more, she had... held me... against her own body.
