"Hey I didn't agree to this!"... ugh.

Picking myself back up I lifted the heavy necroma-whatever its' called off the dusty and moss grown cobblestone. This is normal. Yes, a normal teenager walking into a abandoned graveyard to supposedly raise the fuckin dead.

Hearing the laughs fading in the distance, those back-stabbing friends should've been far gone by now. See, it all started out quite simple and innocent really; just a bunch of college roomies gathering together for a simplistic game of truth and dare. Of course I HAD to oblige, because they just won't stop banging on the door and all that crap. It was literally eleven at night!

It started out simple enough, spin some bottle or pen... whatever and the guy who had the tip pointed to has to take a dare or a question. And yes, I was the first one. And it weren't for this stupid dare right now I'd be all tuck up in bed, cosy and blissfully enjoying the much needed sleep for the next day... stupid roomies...

Looking around the enclosed cemetery there were a few noticeable details about the place, like how... small the tombstones were. Of course, there were normal sized tombstone right next to them but... who would give such a tiny grave to some animal? Kneeling down onto the miniature engraved resting place of this animal, I squinted my eyes as it was already hard enough to see in the glow of the moon, much less the small, fine print that had been carefully carved into it.

Finally able to adjust to the words, it read 'Aria'... and that was it. Looking at the size of the grave again, I highly doubted that this animal was even as big as a guinea pig... so what in tarnation could be buried here?... ah fuck it... it was what I was 'supposed' to do here anyways. Plopping down the diction of death, I turned to the only page it had- which was mysteriously as thick as the length of my finger. It was the normal 'raising the dead' stuff: the pentagram with scribbled illegible words, the mark of the devil and of course, the 'small' blood sacrifice to incant 'the spell'.

Sighing right before doing so, I bit down hard on my lips, wiping the miniscule amount of blood that came out onto the book. Reviewing the chant, I spoke of it word for words as the night sky starts to dim. After doing so, I started staring at the grave for the 'dead to rise'... and as expected, nothing came out clawing at the dirt to eat my brains or something. Rubbing my head I whipped out my phone to take a picture of the successful failure, turning back onto the grave I kneeled down and... wait... the tomb had been dug out...

No it can't be, must be some kind of illusion or just them pranking me... "I know you're there! Come out and show yourselves you wankers!" Looking at the omniscience trees, I started to wander why I had even stayed here at all. Picking the dirtied book up, I got up from the ground and prepared to leave, and I just felt something staring at me. I knew that no one was there... but why do I feel like someone was stalking me? Looking at the barren landscape of the graveyard, there were very little hiding spots for humans so why the heck- crack (oh sure, do the convenient 'crack' sound cue to alert the presence of a tiny yeah that definitely isn't embarrassing).

"Who's there!?" Looking around frantically for the culprit, my eyes scanned the outlines of the tombs and as if the moon had fooled me, rested my eyes on a mini-sized shadow hiding right behind a thin oak tree. Rubbing my eyes to test my stupidity, it was both comforting and alarming that my sight hadn't been lying to me. And if having a self-doubting crisis wasn't enough for one night, something... no... someone walked out of... her hiding place.

Mouth agape and jaw dropped, all I could dare was just stare at the tiny being walking at me. Squatting down to meet... her height, I could see the delicate features strewn across the face, and the barbaric clothing she wore was no weirder. At last she stopped and kneeled on one knee as she lowered he body, and it was at this moment I knew what she was doing; she was bowing.
