A/N: Hi guys! This is my first 1D/5SOS/Little Mix fanfic, so please be nice! I've been reading a lot of fanfics lately, and they have inspired me. So, please feel free to comment, whether it's good or bad things. Thank you!
Harry's PoV
Something about big crowds has never scared me. However, it was who was in them, did. I could see my mum, and my sister, sat in the front row with a huge banner perched on their knees. I couldn't make out what is read, but I knew that whatever it was brought tears to my eyes.
I loved my mum. She brought me and my sister, Gemma, up single handedly. She was the reason I went to that X Factor audition. She is the reason I'm here today. I want to make her proud. Seeing her here, at the front row of a party dedicated to us boys, made me realise that I have achieved just that. I was so happy to see her here, so happy knowing how proud I have made her, I couldn't contain my emotions. I let the tears run freely.
"Harry, you okay?" I heard a soft voice behind, thick with a heavy Geordie accent. It's funny, as soon as I heard her voice, I felt shivers up my spine and goosebumps formed on my arm.
I turned round, and laid eyes on an angel. Her long and wavy hair was a golden colour, the lights reflecting off her locks. Her chocolate doe eyes held both concern and comfort in them. Hugging her slim and petite figure was a black gown, floor length, which showed off her . . . um . . . cleavage.
"Jade, hi" I breathed. I'd always been able to see how beautiful she was, but looking at her now was as if I was seeing her for the first time.
She approached me, and placed her tiny hand on my arm. She cocked her head, and stared at me, and it felt like she was peering into my soul.
"You alright, pet?" she asked. God, her accent was adorable.
"Yeah, yeah, I'm okay" I replied, shrugging it off. She narrowed her eyes, and I knew she didn't quite believe me. "It's just, all this has finally hit me." I gestured around us, at all the crew, at all the 1D memorabilia, at the friends and family behind the curtain. "It's as if all of a sudden, everything I've always wanted as come at once in this huge wave. Does that make sense?"
She smiled, her red lips curving into the sexiest thing I'd ever seen. Beside her in that dress. God, what am I thinking? Jade's like a sister to me. Not to mention she's taken.
"I know exactly what you mean. I had the same feeling when we were backstage on The X-Factor, when we were the guest performers. Watching the introduction, hearing them describe us as 'X Factor Winners 2011' made me heart skip a beat!"
I chuckled, as I wiped the few tears from my cheek.
"I saw me mam in the audience, screaming and cheering louder then anyone. I had made her proud, and I that was all I ever wanted to do. Everything I had been feeling before, all these crazy emotions, just went away" she explained, sincerely, her hand still on my bare arm. It was strange; I didn't want her to take it off.
"Trust me, you'll see your mam, and everything will be worth it."
She gave me one more smile, when all of a sudden someone called her name out. She turned round, and squealed, happily. She ran towards the figure, who turned out to be that dancer from Diversity. Sam, I think his name is.
Jade jumped into his arms, wrapping hers around his neck.
"Baby! I've missed you!" she cried, as he chuckled. I watched as they kissed, rather passionately. I ignored the twinge of jealously.
"I missed you more, Jadey" he replied, still holding her up. He was a considerable amount taller than she was. He wore a dark green shirt, and black skinny jeans.
It took him a while to notice me, and when he did, he looked between me and his girlfriend.
"Oh sorry, did I interrupt something?"
Yes. "No, you didn't. Jade was just giving me some advice."
He nodded. "Oh, cool. So you don't mind if I steal her away for a bit do you, dude?"
Yes. "No, course not."
He grinned, and grabbed ahold of Jade's hand, and began to lead her away. She halted to a stop, and snapped her head back to look at me. "Don't forget the announcement. Just because you're emotional doesn't give you an excuse to forget about it, okay?"
I laughed, nodding. She flashed me one quick, heart-warming smile, and then disappeared.
I swallowed a lump in my throat. As we prepped to get on stage, our microphones being set up and whatnot, me and Liam watched Perrie kiss Zayn good luck.
Liam looked at me, eyeing me.
"You alright?" he asked.
I nodded, looking down at the ground.
"Hey, so what's the deal with Jade and her boyfriend? She looked like she was going to burst when she saw him."
I tried as best as I could to hide the annoyance in my tone - annoyance I had no idea I felt.
"Well the girls have been in America, haven't they? For . . . two months I think. And Sam was on your with his crew for about four months before that." I blinked, waiting for him to get to the point. "They haven't seen each other in six months. Perrie and Zayn are the same."
"Oh." That was all I could say without sounding like I was totally obsessed or I fancied her or something. Because so don't. Do I?We performed four songs. Steal My Girl, Ready To Run, Fireproof, and finally Night Changes. My mum was singing all the lyrics, and I kept smiling at her. She was waving like a maniac, but I loved it all the same.
I spotted the Little Mix girls in the crowd too. They were all singing and dancing too, laughing amongst themselves. Jade was with Sam. They could of displayed less PDA. Just saying.
After we finished singing, we took a moment to thank everyone for coming to see us.
"We wouldn't have gotten to where we are now, releasing our fourth album, without you all here" Liam began. "Standing behind the phones when we were on The X-Factor, or when we were just a bunch of clueless teenage boys at our first photoshoot, or when we flew around the world on our first tour" Niall interjected.
"So we want to thank you, and dedicate tonight to all of you here" Louis added. "And we are just so happy that we can celebrate with everyone here, because you're the people that mean the most to us" Zayn smiled.
"We just hope that we've made you all proud, because that's what this is all really about" I finished. I made eye contact with Jade. She smiled warmly at me, putting her thumbs up at me. Sam then wrapped his arms around her waist and placed his head on her shoulder, as if to prove a point. I looked away almost immediately.
"So thank you all!"
"But wait, before we hand over the stage, we want to bring on some special and extremely talented people. Please welcome, 5 Seconds of Summer!"
A huge roar erupted, as the four boys all walked onto the stage, grinning nervously.
The cheer quietened down, queuing our the next part of our announcement.
"And, give another big cheer for . . . Little Mix!"
Once again, a huge cheer exploded from the crowd, as the four girls climbed up the steps to greet us. Jade flashed me a knowing smile, as if to congratulate me for not forgetting.
Microphones were passed along to the eight newcomers.
"So, we have some news. It's been in the talks for a while now, but finally it's now set in stone" Liam spoke, looking at Luke to continue.
"Last year we had the great fortune to go on tour with this marvellous band right here -" Luke and the other boys gestured to us. "- and we were thinking, hey, Little Mix are an amazing group."
"And we thought, hey, 5 Seconds of Summer, they're pretty cool, right?" Jade added, laughing.
"And that got us thinking, what if we combined forces!" Niall cried. "We'd be like The Avengers!"
"Or the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles!" Ashton yelled.
"Or the Power Rangers!" Leigh-Anne joked.
Everyone was laughing now, and I could tell it was easing all our nerves.
"So anyway, we wanted to all collaborate, but that would of been mental" Perrie continued.
"Chicken oriental!" Jade burst. We all laughed, looking at her. "You know, 'mental, chicken oriental'! No? Okay . . . "
"Interesting" Jesy said, whilst Jade blushed, all eyes in the room on her.
"But yeah, we thought collaborating would be a bit hectic. What would be just as great as collaborating, but not as demanding?" Louis asked.
"And that's when someone suggested, 'world tour'." Michael finally said the words everyone was anticipating.
I could hear the crowd beginning to buzz.
"A world tour with One Direction, 5 Seconds of Summer, and Little Mix, what could be better?" Calum sighed.
"An album!" bellowed Jade. When once again everyone looked at her, she started waving her hands about. "I'm joking, it's just a tour. For now."
I laughed again, shaking my head.
"So how's about it? A tour with all thirteen of us?"
The crowd all cheered, a chorus of 'hell yeahs!' surged through the venue.
I looked at the others, grinning.
"So I guess it's finally happening then" I breathed, elated.Let's go crazy, crazy, crazy 'till we see the sun
