You were in front of the library's door, rehearsing your script to when you see Jimin at his usual place beside yours. But it wasn't easy considering the last event you had with him was jinxed. It had almost been a week after that consequential event and you refused to go to the library until then.
Now that you're here (presumably) a few feet from him. Distraught was written on your face.
"Confidence Lara, you can face him it was nothing. It's no big deal okay. You've been a coward for way too long now and you badly need to study." you whisper to yourself, stepping aside when students come and go from the library.
"Again, face your fears." you chant, taking a big inhale of air, ready to step inside the building.
"Fears?" That voice. You know that tone, that pitched up deep voice. You held your breath and froze in place.
Slowly turning around you caught the eyes of that person you swore not to cross paths with.
Namjoon.
Your eyes widen as you proceed to cough the air out of your lungs. Then you stood straight laughing awkwardly while waving at him.
"Are you okay Lara?" Namjoon asked, impassive. He didn't look like he was rushing to enter the library or hated your presence. He seem indifferent.
"I'm.. Okay. Yes I'm good, Joon, No I mean Namjoon. Namjoon, I'm okay." you laugh awkwardly.
When you stutter in response to his question. His face lights up and he smiles genuinely.

Namjoon opens the door, waiting for you to go first. Though you were nervous and obviously stalling.
"Come on Lara. Face your fears." Namjoon smiles.
📚 Lara took the books she needed to support her notes with since exams were approaching and she missed a whole school day last time.
Namjoon helped you by searching for the books efficiently. He knows every shelf and book covers of this library.
You follow Namjoon around while whispering to him the book topics you need. He's happy to help and you felt useful for preparing a list beforehand.
It was a mind debate but you didn't want to ask Namjoon if Jimin was present. Because surely the penalty Jungkook mentioned wasn't done yet.
Instead you go with the flow, slowly forgetting about the "fears" you initially wanted to face.

Earlier, you asked to accompany him reading. You needed a study table given that it was too late to study on your usual place. Namjoon was hesitant at first but chose to accept your offer.
