The bus stops in front of the huge white gates that connects with a tall concrete wall that almost reaches the third floor of a building.
It isn't heavily guarded like some palace from a royal family. Instead it didn't have any guards at all. Even though it didn't have one to open and confirm your identity, it opens by itself and you make your way in.
You had entered this academy once with Heather and you remember important places, like the Office as you stand in front of its door and knock twice.
A voice announced entry and you turned the knob and step in the office where a few people is in. You assume it was teachers since they look like one, typical formal attires and doing papers with a check or a X.
They were gathered in each of their cubicles, quite busy for the day. Looking quite agitated or jolly, it differs. But you didn't come to watch them work. So you made your way to the end of the room where a door stands.
You knock twice and heard entry, you rub your hands at your skirt to dry them up and proceed to step in the guidance counselor's office.
Female, red long straight hair, very tall and slim. The back of the guidance counselor greets you as she is still on the phone while you stand in front of the closed door awkwardly.
Ms. Adelheide Limberllet
That's what her name is from the letters at her nameplate on the desk. Under it is the words Guidance Counselor written in smaller fonts.
Ms. Limberllet places the telephone down and faces you with a warm smile, she makes her way on her seat behind the desk and gestures you to sit at the chair in front.
"I'm sorry for making you wait, sweetie. Welcome to the school Miss. Song,I hope you're liking it by far. Not a lot of students enroll in here but I promise you there are no ghosts in here." Ms. Limberllet speaks while filling in a paper and reading your form.
"No worries miss. I actually came here because of a close friend of mine." you start on mentioning Heather to see if you could be her possible dormmate. "Her name is Heather Kuznetsov." you flutter your eyes and smile at the female.
She flips on pages and when she's done after half a minute, her eyes lands at yours with her smile still in. "I understand you have a bond at one of the girls here. But we only have a few rooms available and sadly hers is not one of those. But you have your room and class!" she exclaims as she hands you a piece of paper with information in it. You frown mentally and read the paper for reference.
"Here's the school's handbook, we are strict at punishing misbehaving students and I hope you're not one." she caresses your palm and you grin, shaking your head no.
"I've retired from that phase miss, you'll hear nothing bad at me, at least I hope." you reply and she nods understandingly while pressing a tiny cerulean button at the desk. It stands with a few more tiny colored buttons, all different and never repeating.
Windchimes echoes in the room as the door to the office opens and enters the male.
He looks so formal and disciplined that his face didn't show no emotion but attentiveness, resembling a soldier on duty. He didn't look your way and looks straight at the guidance counselor waiting for the reason of his presence.
"Our new student, Miss Lara here would need company. This school is quite huge for her isn't it Namjoon?" the guidance counselor giggles at the new arrived male named Namjoon.
Namjoon finally looks your way and you snap awake when both of your eyes connect. Slowly, a charming smile appears, making you blush at how beautiful and different he looks and feel from the deadpan he showed.
You look away from his gaze, keeping yourself at transforming to a ripe tomato.
"I'll make sure she'll do good, Ms. Adelheide. We'll be taking our leave." Namjoon turn to the door and you bid goodbye to Ms. Limberllet and followed suit.
The wheels of your suitcase makes noises that you're afraid will annoy Namjoon, so as dumb as you look handling the suitcase in one hand you endure and exit the office.
Namjoon stops walking and faces you and his aura changed into a welcoming one. His hand shots forward, asking for a handshake and so you did.
"I'm Kim Namjoon." he introduces himself with that beautiful smile that almost swayed you too much. But seeing it twice now, you got used to its charm that you weren't as flustered as you initially was. Still, you appreciate and acknowledged how it affects you.
"Lara." you smile back and take your hands to grip on the handle of the suitcase again. Ready to carry it all the way. However it wouldn't do well at your frail human body. As Ms. Adelheide said, the campus is huge and there is no way you could go around with this extra baggage.
As if Namjoon read your mind, he took the suitcase in his hand and caught you off guard. You look at his eyes but it sunk in his lids, forming cute crescents along with his well familiar smile that showed his beautiful dimples.
"Actually we'll have to leave it here and when you arrive your dorm, it's already there. Shall we go on a tour now?" he talks and his voice is manly and deep, authoritative but soothing.
He held his palm out and you took it in your hand out of instinct. Flustered but not guilty, you start to walk around the empty corridors as class is still on going.
You waved at Namjoon when your trip around the campus is done, it didn't take long as to knowing where is where. Since maps are plastered around the hallway's walls.
He left you in front of the girls dorms and he was right. Your baggage is in the room. It was empty, the room is.
So you start fixing your side since the other side is evidently occupied by how the sheets is a different color and the vanity and closet is organized with women products.
It's just four in the afternoon but you felt tired after placing all of your accessories and clothes in place. You promised to find Heather but you're body opposes. Soon, the bell would ring and some would come back at their dorms or do their own businesses.
Bell rings dismissal. You look at your very own uniform that hangs at the small rack between the closet and the window which lights a faint orange hue.
Soon enough, you hear steps from outside your room probably from the returning students. You couldn't care less as you lie down vertically at the foot of the bed, waiting for sleep to struck you.
Opposite happened, you were awake.
Awakened by the opening of the room's door. You shot up on a sitting position, excited to meet your probably soon to be best friend.
When you meet the other's eyes with her blood red lipstick on her smirking lips. The familiar face hit you and yes, it isn't good news.
"Hi Newbie."
