Bani was strolling down the memory lane when the chants of the priest brought her back to reality, that's when she glanced at her very own Meera Di who was all dolled up in her wedding attire looking ethereal.
Taking a fleeting glance at all the decorations which complemented the theme ~warm tones of peach as per Meera's choice; she stood at a safe distance, close enough to make her presence known to Meera but not to irk Mrs Sharma.

Looking at her Meera Di sitting next to her "significant other" with a beaming smile made her remember the day Meera confessed about her relationship with 'Harsh' and on being asked the reason, the only thing she could say was...HE FELT LIKE HOME..and that was enough. Belonging to an affluent family and the same profession as Meera Di's, Mr and Mrs Sharma had no reason to deny, so here they are taking vows and promising each other...FOREVER.
A bittersweet moment for Bani as a part of her was gleaming with joy for her sister but the other part tearing apart from the pain of separation from a person she was closest to, she took a moment to thank her eyes heavily lined with kohl to keep the tears at bay.

"𝘚𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘪𝘢'𝘴 𝘬𝘢𝘣𝘴𝘦 𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘥𝘰𝘮 𝘸𝘦𝘥𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘤𝘦𝘳𝘦𝘮𝘰𝘯𝘪𝘦𝘴 𝘢𝘵𝘵𝘦𝘯𝘥 𝘬𝘳𝘯𝘦 𝘭𝘨𝘦" said Veeranshu, as he entered from the other side of the venue, decked up in a black tuxedo; Tapish who noticing the restlessness in his tone tried to elucidate,
"𝘞𝘦𝘥𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘪𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘣𝘦𝘴𝘵 𝘱𝘭𝘢𝘤𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘮𝘢𝘬𝘦 𝘢𝘤𝘲𝘶𝘢𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘦𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘯𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴 𝘸𝘩𝘪𝘤𝘩 𝘸𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘢𝘪𝘥 𝘪𝘯 𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘣𝘶𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘴. 𝘉𝘦𝘴𝘪𝘥𝘦𝘴,𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘪𝘴𝘯'𝘵 𝘢𝘯𝘺 𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘥𝘰𝘮 𝘸𝘦𝘥𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘨, 𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘥𝘢𝘥'𝘴 associat𝘦s 𝘤𝘭𝘰𝘴𝘦𝘴𝘵 𝘬𝘪𝘯 𝘪𝘴 𝘨𝘦𝘵𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘮𝘢𝘳𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘥, 𝘴𝘰 𝘸𝘦 𝘩𝘢𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘢𝘵𝘵𝘦𝘯𝘥", to which Veer rolled his eyes and made his way towards the drinks counter to grab a drink.

As he took a sip, throwing random glances at the people around him, trying to read their mind... of course, it wasn't a big deal for HEAD OF THE EAGLE CLAN. It amused him that more than half of them were just drowned in their own world, least bothered about the wedding; though looked soo into it. That's when he noticed a girl standing close to the pavilion playing with a ring on her finger whose thoughts he could not decipher, "𝘌𝘮𝘰𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘢𝘭 𝘤𝘭𝘰𝘶𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘨", he whispered under his breath; another bootless characteristic of mortals which hampers their whole thought process. 'Emotions weigh you down', that was something he was taught from the very beginning and preached with all his heart. As eagles are meant to rule the sky and could not afford to be held back by any baggages.

Meera was well known to the fact that how her little sister was prone to zoning out. She flashed a look at her with raised eyebrows to which Bani gave a head shake and a reassuring smile to comfort her, that's when Veeranshu came out of his trance only to notice how her fathomable eyes sparkled with radiance, unlike her hazy mind.
Mr Sharma tapped on her shoulder and asked her to fetch his phone from his room.

As she marched towards his room crossing the hallway she felt a push followed by a skim of fingers against her skin, as a reflex she turned towards the person only to be greeted by a sorry, though his facial expressions meant otherwise, she decided to shrug off all the second thoughts that crossed her mind and resumed walking. On her way back to the hallway she smiled and waved at her friends who reciprocated with the same affection, that's when she noticed the same boy who had pushed her earlier, pacing towards her with a smirk on his face.

"𝘛𝘏𝘌 𝘈𝘜𝘋𝘈𝘊𝘐𝘛𝘠 𝘛𝘖 𝘗𝘓𝘈𝘠 𝘖𝘝𝘌𝘙 𝘛𝘏𝘌 𝘉𝘌𝘕𝘌𝘍𝘐𝘛 𝘖𝘍 𝘋𝘖𝘜𝘉𝘛 𝘚𝘏𝘌 𝘎𝘈𝘝𝘌!!!"

Had it been any other day she would have given it back in ways he would never forget; but there she was, completely torn between not to create a fuss.It being a big day for her sister, yet she couldn't spare him either. She took her time to figure out things around her, then a mischievous glint sparked in her eyes.
