"𝘠𝘰𝘶 𝘤𝘢𝘯 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘥 𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘥𝘴, 𝘤𝘢𝘯'𝘵 𝘺𝘰𝘶?"

As soon as Veeranshu perceived her words, he took this moment to be pompous of how he picked up a set of skills and got a hold of them, for some obvious reasons. ...The Prince of Eagles cannot solely depend upon the innate(inborn) skills and abilities to rule the throne, as it is said '𝐧𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐫𝐧𝐬,𝐧𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐞'. It takes blood, sweat and guts to rule and these supplementary skills just add extra feathers to his wings for better flight and fight. Besides, he made it a point, to avoid using his eagle powers anywhere else except in his realms..or at least try to, so these skills really helped here.

Once he came out of his vanity, realisation dawned on him...
'𝘞𝘢𝘪𝘵 𝘸𝘢𝘪𝘵 𝘸𝘢𝘪𝘵.... 𝘛𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦'𝘴 𝘯𝘰 𝘸𝘢𝘺 𝘴𝘩𝘦 𝘸𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘬𝘯𝘰𝘸 𝘢𝘣𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘪𝘵,𝘴𝘩𝘦 𝘣𝘦𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘢 𝘔𝘌𝘙𝘌 𝘔𝘖𝘙𝘛𝘈𝘓 , 𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘪𝘵 𝘱𝘰𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘣𝘭𝘺 𝘮𝘦𝘢𝘯?'
with a puzzled look plastered on his face, he muttered..
    "𝘏𝘶𝘩??"
Bani who was waiting for him to react, wondering what took him soo long....spoke,
"𝘛𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘪𝘴 𝘦𝘹𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘭𝘺 𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘐 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘢𝘣𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘵𝘰 𝘴𝘢𝘺. 𝘠𝘰𝘶 𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 𝘵𝘰𝘰𝘬 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘥𝘴 𝘳𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘰𝘧 𝘮𝘺 𝘮𝘰𝘶𝘵𝘩".
Hearing this Veeranshu stood there in complete bafflement, her reply hit him like a bolt from the blue, it was an unexpected retort
'H𝘰𝘸 𝘤𝘢𝘯 𝘢𝘯𝘺𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘴𝘢𝘺 '𝘕𝘖' 𝘵𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘌𝘢𝘨𝘭𝘦 𝘗𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘤𝘦, 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘪𝘴... 𝘋𝘐𝘚𝘙𝘌𝘚𝘗𝘌𝘊𝘛𝘍𝘜𝘓. 𝘛𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩 𝘴𝘩𝘦 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘱𝘭𝘦𝘵𝘦𝘭𝘺 𝘰𝘣𝘭𝘪𝘷𝘪𝘰𝘶𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘪𝘥𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘵𝘺 ,𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘩𝘦 𝘩𝘢𝘥 𝘭𝘰𝘰𝘬𝘴, 𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘳𝘮 & 𝘥𝘦𝘦𝘱 𝘱𝘰𝘤𝘬𝘦𝘵𝘴 𝘵𝘰 𝘥𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘵𝘢𝘭𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘨𝘪𝘳𝘭𝘴 𝘸𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘣𝘦 𝘸𝘰𝘰𝘦𝘥...𝘢𝘭𝘸𝘢𝘺𝘴 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘬𝘦𝘥, 𝘶𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘭 𝘯𝘰𝘸'.
To ensure he asked,
"𝘛𝘶𝘮𝘩𝘦 𝘮𝘫𝘩𝘴𝘦 𝘴𝘩𝘢𝘢𝘥𝘪 𝘯𝘩𝘪 𝘬𝘳𝘯𝘪??"

stressing on each syllable he spoke. Bani, who was getting impatient with each passing second and his deep thinking sessions were doing no good to her, blurted,
"𝘞𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘥𝘰 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘬 𝘐 𝘣𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘭𝘢𝘵𝘤𝘩𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘥𝘰𝘰𝘳 𝘧𝘰𝘳...𝘵𝘰 𝘴𝘩𝘰𝘸 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘮𝘺 𝘳𝘰𝘰𝘮" She arched her brows, took a deep breath and continued.
"𝘎𝘦𝘵𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘣𝘢𝘤𝘬 𝘵𝘰 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘲𝘶𝘦𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯.. 𝘕𝘩𝘪, 𝘮𝘫𝘩𝘦 𝘵𝘶𝘮𝘴𝘦 𝘴𝘩𝘢𝘢𝘥𝘪 𝘯𝘩𝘪 𝘬𝘳𝘯𝘪".
Desperate enough to know the potential reason, Veeranshu inquired
    "𝘒𝘺𝘶?"
"Bani who was in no mood to spill the beans of her personal life that too, to a stranger, answered,
"𝘛𝘶𝘮𝘩𝘦 𝘣𝘩𝘪 𝘵𝘰𝘩 𝘯𝘩𝘪 𝘬𝘳𝘯𝘪, 𝘳𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵!?𝘚𝘰, 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘰𝘯𝘴, 𝘐 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘦!"

Veeranshu was now immersed in his thoughts on, '𝘏𝘰𝘸 𝘩𝘦 𝘩𝘢𝘵𝘤𝘩𝘦𝘥 𝘢 𝘱𝘭𝘢𝘯 𝘵𝘰 𝘱𝘶𝘭𝘭 𝘩𝘪𝘮𝘴𝘦𝘭𝘧 𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘱𝘰𝘵,𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘥𝘢𝘥 𝘩𝘢𝘥 𝘨𝘰𝘵 𝘩𝘪𝘮 𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘰 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘩𝘺𝘱𝘯𝘰𝘵𝘪𝘴𝘦 𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘢𝘴 𝘴𝘩𝘦 𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘳𝘰𝘰𝘮,𝘸𝘩𝘪𝘤𝘩 𝘤𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘭𝘺 𝘥𝘪𝘥𝘯'𝘵 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘬.... 𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘢𝘭 𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘨𝘵𝘩 𝘣𝘦𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘬𝘦𝘺.

All his musings were interrupted by a knock at the door and Bani paced forward to open the door for Tapish who announced, "𝘝𝘦𝘦𝘳, 𝘋𝘢𝘥 𝘪𝘴 𝘸𝘢𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘺𝘰𝘶" to which Veeranshu gave a nod and followed him.

Balwant knew his son, being well aware of the fact that he would definitely try to pull some tricks or the other and use his powers to influence her, especially now when things are not the way he wants them to be. So, he had to keep an eye on him as he couldn't leave him alone with her for too long; thereupon having some business-related talks they left.

Watching the moon gracing the sky decked with stars, Bani was now too indulged in feasting on the last piece of cheesecake she had treasured for soo long, which reminded him of Veeranshu. Thinking of him by the impression he made in her mind

'𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘸𝘩𝘰 𝘸𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘴 𝘣𝘭𝘢𝘤𝘬 𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘦 𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘴𝘦𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘥 𝘴𝘬𝘪𝘯 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘧𝘪𝘥𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦 𝘢𝘴 𝘧𝘪𝘳𝘴𝘵, 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘫𝘢𝘤𝘬𝘦𝘵 𝘵𝘰 𝘫𝘦𝘢𝘯𝘴, 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘥𝘳𝘢𝘱𝘦𝘥 𝘪𝘯 𝘣𝘭𝘢𝘤𝘬 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘳𝘶𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘤 𝘣𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘥 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘢𝘥𝘥𝘦𝘥 𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘴𝘩𝘢𝘥𝘺 𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘰𝘯𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘺 𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘣𝘦𝘧𝘪𝘵 𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘴𝘩𝘢𝘳𝘱 𝘧𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘦𝘴.
