Allie
"We're back, Mr.Wae," Miss Layelle said, bearing a smile as genuine as always.
They really did came back. Miss Layelle was right.
"What? The others will come back?"
"Precisely. Knowing that Adam guy, I know he'll be itching to know more about you and if I'm correct, he'll drag us with him. "
"I'll keep that in mind."
"Just make sure to welcome us back, okay?"
"Welcome back. I'm glad to see you all." I faced them, wearing my own version of the smile.
"Sadly, one of us couldn't make it," Miss Layelle added.
I looked through all of them and I couldn't find the boy with the spiky hair.
"That's fine." I clapped my hands together. And I can't help but to smile fondly when Mister Adam yelped like the young human he was."So, what brought you here?"
Except from Miss Layelle, the others hadn't meet my eyes since they came, they seem to be distracted to the changes I've made.
"Oh, you like the new arrangements?" I asked, tilting my head. "You can take a seat if you want." I ushered them to the new wooden chairs I added. It's aligned neatly in front of my couch so we could talk to each other freely. Sadly, I had to remove the welcome sign that Miss Layelle called "creepy". She said that it'll drive people away despite of the word.
The others looked at me warily and
though reluctantly, they still sat down; and I couldnt be any happier.I'm glad I listened to Miss layelle.
"It's bearable than before," Miss Viane said, flopping herself down a bit too harshly.
I nodded in gratefuness.
"We came here to talk about your offer," Mister Adam interrupted, eyes steeled and arms crossed. "You don't have any problem with that, right?"
My smile grew even wider.
"None at all, please," I prompted them to lead the conversation.
"Tell us everything about that offer of yours."
All their eyes turned to me.
I nodded. "Let me start from the very beginning. My power can reenact any particular point in your life, especially the included person in it. But, there are rules and limitations."
The silenced stretched and I continued.
I raised my hand and lifted a finger. "First: I can only act as the person you wanted me to-- base on what I saw in your memories, I could also add places that bear significance to them as a character." I lifted another finger. "Second: I can't change my appearance or voice to become that person, all I could do is act as them. I can, however, imitate all of their mannerism and copy all the knowledge they have." I lifted another. "And third--even though it has nothing to do with the offer, all the wish I granted here will stay here and will disappear once you stepped outside of this alley."
Sir Adam stood up.
"Will you ask for something in retur--"
"I would like to try that please." Miss Sina stood up so fast the chair moved few steps back.
"Wait, you don't know what he wants!"
"Exactly. We don't know and I'm pretty sure he's not willing to answer us. The best thing you could do is to send me out first," Miss Sina countered, voice muffled but sure. "Just wait out here until I came back," she added, taking no arguments and walked straight towards me.
