❝ Let Me Love You ❞

It's been three months nung maghiwalay kami ng asawa ko. I've been avoiding any contact to any of them dahil gusto ko muna mapag-isa. I told those who looked for me that I'm fine pero hindi ko sinabi sa kanila kung nasaan ako.

I chose to let him go, but I still have this urges to take him back kahit alam ko na hindi naman na mangyayari yon kaya nandito ako sa isang villa na pagmamay-ari ng pamilya ko.

"Zoey, dinner is served." sabi ng lalaking kapapasok lang ng kwarto na tinutuluyan ko

"I'll be there in a minute." sabi ko sa kanya

"Take your time." sabi nya at iniwan ako

He's the other someone I'm seeing while being married with Chad, he's Herald. My ex-boyfriend before I met Chad and he's also my childhood friend, kaya kahit pagkatapos namin maghiwalay ay nagkikita pa rin kami and I think it's a one-sided love on my part. I'm not sure kung mahal nya pa ako but I know na wala syang naging girlfriend for the past seven years.

Yes, I'm a crazy b-tch for marrying Chad while still being inlove with someone else. I tried unloving Herald but I can't and I also can't let go of Chad that time. I just can't do it, my heart won't let me even my mind says its wrong.

Napabuntong hininga nalang ako bago ako tumayo mula sa pagkakahiga ko at lumabas na para kumain ng dinner.

Naabutan ko sya na nakaupo na doon sa dining area at hinihintay ako. Umupo na rin ako at nagumpisa ng kumain. Tahimik lang naman kaming kumain na dalawa.

Nang matapos kami at nagliligpit na sya ay tinanong ko sya. "Bakit ka nga ba ulit nandito?"

Saglit nyang itinigil ang pagliligpit nya at tinignan ako. "Ask your parents. Sila ang nakiusap sa akin na bantayan ka dahil baka daw mag-suicide ka."

I laughed. "As if naman na mag-su-suicide ako. Mahal ko ang buhay ko kahit na iniwan nya ako."

"You still love him?" tanong nya

"Of course, I do. Hindi naman agad na mawawala iyon."

"Then will you let me help you to forget about him? Let me love you."

Seryosong sabi nya kaya natulala ako. "What?"

"I'm asking you to date me. Hindi ba halata na after all this years, mahal pa rin kita? I did became happy nung malaman ko na ikinasal ka pero mahal pa rin kita, Zoey. Mahal na mahal."

Is this for real? Is he really saying that he also still loves me?

"Seryoso ka?"

"Seryoso ako. If you'll let me, I'll try to make you happy." seryosong sabi nya kaya napangiti ako

"Oh bakit ka nakangiti? Hindi ako nagbibiro kaya huwag mo akong tawanan." He said sulking

Lumapit ako sa kanya at niyakap sya then I looked up to him while still hugging him.

"Hindi ako natatawa. I'm just happy. Masaya lang ako na hindi pala one-sided yung pagmamahal ko sayo." nakangiti kong sabi sa kanya

Nanlaki naman ang mga mata nya sa sinabi ko pero saglit lang ay ngumiti rin sya at hinalikan ang mga labi ko.

I'm sure that I'll be happy now with this guy. Honestly, thanks for this guy being with me, hindi ko na naiisip na habulin si Chad.

To be honest, at my first month staying here, I did tried to chase after Chad a countless of times pero every time na sinusubukan kong umalis ay pinipigilan ako ni Herald. He's been saying that I don't need to dahil may bagong pamilya na si Chad at hindi ko kailangan na sirain yon.

I know that already but I still can't keep myself to do so. My parents even got me a psychiatrist because of my obsession to Chad. I'm slowly recuperating myself this past two months and I'm very thankful that I am moving on from my obsession to Chad.

Sobrang laking tulong na nandito si Herald sa tabi ko para alagaan at tulungan ako. During this past three months that I'm with him lalo ko syang minamahal. Lalo akong naging aware na mas matindi talaga ang pagmamahal ko sa kanya kaysa sa pagmamahal ko kay Chad.

"Masaya ako. Masayang masaya ako na you're letting me love you." he said while hugging me from the back and then he kissed my forehead

"I'm happy and thankful that you're here with me, Herald. I really am." I said and hold his hand around my waist
