Finally, the day has arrived. After almost a month Hermione has managed to brew the polyjuice potion. But one more ingredient was left. The hair of the person we want to be. It was already December, Hogwarts was already set for Christmas with decorations to the ghosts singing Christmas songs.
But at last, the time has come. It was night. All of us were in the great hall very late talking about the potion. "Everything's set. We just need a bit of who you're changing into" I said
"Crabbe and Goyle." Ron and Harry said in sync "We also need to make sure that the real Crabbe and Goyle can't burst in on us while we're interrogating Malfoy." I looked at Hermione I can tell she was worried and so was I. "How?" Ron asked. Hermione holds up a pair of small cakes which looked very delicious. "I've got it all worked out. I've filled these with a simple Sleeping Draught. Simple, but powerful." She said. We glance at the boys at the Slytherin table and seeing them eat and being very greedy. "You know how greedy Crabbe and Goyle are. They won't leave the Christmas Feast until every last drop of trifle is gone," she said. I nodded in agreement. "Now, once they're asleep, hide them in a broom cupboard and pull out a few of their hairs." "And whose hair are you ripping out?" Asked Ron. "We've already got ours. She takes out a small vile and inside is hair. After her, I take out my vile filled with hair. The boys looked at us. "Millicent Bulstrode. She's in Slytherin. I got this off her robes." Hermione said. They then looked at me. "I've gotten Pansy Parkinson from her robes as well she's always with Malfoy besides she's left for the holidays so it's perfect," I said
"We are going to go check on the Polyjuice Potion. Make sure that Crabbe and Goyle find these." We all nodded at Hermione.
A little bit later Ron, Harry, and I started to sneak around to find Crabbe and Goyle. We finally see them getting out of the great hall with food in their hands. Sweets and other food in their hands. We hid behind a statue big enough and started hiding. Ron was about to perform the spell to make things float also known as 'Wingardium leviosa'
Ron was about to cast it and when he held up his wand and cleared his throat I remembered his wand was broken. I immediately put his hand down "I'll do it." I said
"I got out my wand and cast it. "Wingardium leviosa" the cakes started floating. "Here they come."
They started eating it like they haven't eaten in years. I made a disgusted face. "How thick could you get?" Ron murmured. I laughed a bit. But once they ate it they fainted immediately. "Come on. Let's get 'em." We stuffed them in a closet and got the hairs.
We arrived at the girls' bathroom. I saw Hermione finishing up the brew and had 3 cups with her. We gathered around the sink where she brewed it "We'll have exactly one hour before we change back into ourselves..." she gave all of us cups. "Add the hairs."
