||𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐌𝐢𝐫𝐫𝐨𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐬||

Y/N and Harry starred sneaking out. They started going out of the dorms she never really snuck out which was making her kinda sweaty.

"You ok Y/N?"

"Yes Harry I'm fine just a little hot thats all."

They managed to make it to the library to the restricted section. Finally they were released from the cloak. They were going through the library when She heard a screaming that was loud. She knocked over the lamp and she immediately went to Harry and covered themselves both with the cloak.

"I know you're in there. You can't hide."

Y/N and Harry run out breathing heavily out of fear. He gets into the hall, where Mrs. Norris is. The cat meows and begins to follow us. Harry and Y/N run around a corner, just as Snape and Quirrell appear. Snape pushes Quirrell into the wall.

"You don't want me as your enemy, Quirrell. You know perfectly well what I mean."

Harry covers my mouth while Y/N covers his. She doesn't care how super close she is to him at this point she just doesn't want to get caught. Snape had noticed the Heard- breathing. He raised his hand towards them and they backed away, he looked at his hand and he whips his finger back in front of Quirrell's face.

"We'll have another chat soon...when you've had time to decide where your loyalties lie."

Filch appears, carrying the broken lamp

"Oh, Professors. I found this, in the Restricted Section. It's still hot. That means there's a student out of bed."

They make a run for it into a room they both weren't allowed into.

"Y/N what's in this room?"

"I don't know Harry I'm not allowed in this room."

They took off the cloak and started walking around. They run into a mirror they haven't seen before. Harry looks at it.

"Mom, Dad?"

"Harry are you ok?"

"Y/N come! Stand here."

"Alright"

"Look it's my parents!"

"Harry I don't see your parents."

The more she looked at it She saw herself much older like in teenage years. She sees she's out in different lands and worlds. All she desired is that she would get away from Hogwarts, explore the world with her friends.

"Y/N! Are you ok?"

"Y-yes."

"What did you see? I called you several times."

"Myself out of Hogwarts."

Harry starts running while Y/N stayed. She was hypnotized into the mirror, she only stood there looking at herself be free. Harry then comes back with Ron. "Come look at my parents!" Harry yells. He moved Y/N and she gained back her consciousness.

"That's me! Only, I'm head boy...and I'm holding the Quidditch cup! And bloody hell, I'm Quidditch Captain too! I look good. Harry, do you think this mirror shows the future?"

"I wonder if it does." Y/N says with hope.

"How can it be my parents are dead." They all looked at each other awkwardly.

Ron was back in his room. Y/N stayed with Harry and fell asleep on his shoulder.

Harry started brushing Y/N hair out of the way from her face and tucking it behind her ears. Why did she see herself out in other places and why did Ron see himself as quidditch captain.

"Back again, Harry?"

He turned around and sees Dumbledore

"I see Y/N found it too."

Y/N woke up in confusion.

"Harry...?" She mumbled

"Y/N come on it's time for bed."

She gets up goes over to dumbledore and he Leads her to the door and places a kiss on her head.

"I see that you, like so many before you, and  Y/N have discovered the delights of the Mirror of Erised. I trust by now you realize what it does. Let me give you a clue. The happiest man on earth would look into the mirror and see only himself, exactly as he is."

"So, then it shows us what we want? Whatever we want?"

"Yes...and no. It shows us nothing more or less than the deepest, most desperate desires of our hearts. Now you, who have never known your family, you see them standing beside you. But remember this, Harry. This mirror gives us neither knowledge or truth. Men have wasted away in front of it, even gone mad. That is why tomorrow it will be moved to a new home, and I must ban Y/N from going in the room and I must ask you not to go looking for it again especially with my daughter. It does not do to dwell on dreams, Harry, and forget to live."

"So I see Y/N wants to get out of here"

"Yes she does. She told me she wants to be like her mother an explorer who traveled all around the Wizarding world. But I keep her locked here for her own good 'he' is out to get her."

In the common room Harry sees Y/N sleeping in the common room waiting for Harry.

"Hey Y/N?"

"Hm...."

"What else did you see in the mirror?"

"Not much I was happy for once I never get out here."

He took her to her room. And promised her that together they would say goodbye to their owls for the winter.

Harry and Y/N were walking together. With our owls in hand.

"Goodbye Hedwig." Harry says

"I love you Ace" Y/N says

They lift their hand and let them go free.
