It was now night. Still, no evidence or anything to tell who the heir of is. We have been discussing all day looking at books and such. They went into Myrtle's bathroom only to feel our shoes and socks are now wet. She was confused. From within, Myrtle can be heard moaning. "Looks like Myrtle's flooded the bathroom," Y/N said as Harry sploshes off toward the bathroom, Ron steps lightly and so does Y/N. Huge, crying moans echo off the dreary tile. All the taps are running, streaming like tiny waterfalls. As Harry and Ron step to the last bathroom cubicle, Myrtle spins and looks at us with a dead stare. "Come to throw something else at me?" She said looking at Harry. Y/N was confused, She knew Harry would never do anything like this especially to one of my friends she was close with. "Why would I throw something at you?" Harry asked.
"Don't ask me. Here I am, minding my own business, and someone thinks it's funny to throw a book at me..." she responded. Ron spoke up. "But it can't hurt if someone throws something at you. I mean, it'd just go right through you, wouldn't it?"
"Oh, sure! Let's all throw books at Myrtle because she can't feel it! Ten points if you can get it through her stomach. Fifty points if it goes through her head!" She said. "Who threw it at you anyway?" I asked. "I don't know. I didn't see them. I was just sitting in the U-bend, thinking about death and it fell through the top of my head." I questioned who would do such a thing. I look in the corner of my eye to see Harry pick up a book. It was leather and had little gold marks on every corner of it. "Fifty points if you can get it through her nose," Ron said as he was looking at it. "We heard that," I said taking out my wand while the boys start running away. I said goodbye to Myrtle and told her to be careful. I walked to the dormitory a couple of minutes later to see Harry with the book examining it. Ron was nowhere to be found. I walked up to Harry out of curiosity. "It's a diary, it's old... and was most recently in a toilet, Harry," I said. Harry starts to open the diary and put my hand on his for him to stop. I see his face is turning red. I was confused why his face is suddenly burning up. "Are you mad? That could be cursed. Dad once told me about a book the Ministry confiscated that burned the eyes out of anyone who tried to read it." I said. "I'll take my chances..." he opens the book.

"AHH, MY EYES, MY EYES." She got freaked out and try anyway to help him but he was kidding. She started hitting him out of anger and for laughs. We looked up to see Ginny at the doorway of the dorms. She looked terrified.
"Ginny are you ok? You know Harry was only kidding." She said. She looked up and down at the diary than to Harry repeatedly. She then ran away. They both were confused. He opened the book and got closer to see better.
"Tom Marvolo Riddle? Hang on. I know that name..." She said thinking he looked at me curiously. "Of course! The night I had detention... My job was to polish the silver in the trophy room. I remember because Ron kept burping slugs all over Tom Riddle's trophy. I must have wiped slime off his name for an hour." I said laughing a bit.
Harry starts going through the pages and sees that almost all of them were blank. "That's odd no pages are filled in." He said. We decided tomorrow we were going to see if Hermione and I know where this book might be from. so I told Harry goodnight and went to bed. I was curious about the book but didn't think much of it. I got dressed in my pajamas and started packing my things for tomorrow.

The night was here. We decided to go to the hospital wing and see what Hermione and I recognized. Harry and I sit with Hermione in the moonlit room. Hermione studies the diary curiously. "Tom Riddle... Hm. And Ron and Y/N said he won an award fifty years ago?" She asked
"Special Services to the School or something," Harry said
"Fifty years ago? You're sure?" "Yes. Why?" "Don't you remember what Malfoy told you? The last time the Chamber of Secrets was opened was..." "Fifty years ago! That means"
"Tom Riddle was here, at Hogwarts when it happened. What if he wrote about what he saw? It's possible he knew where the Chamber was, how to open it, even what sort of creature lives in it. If so, whoever's behind the attacks this time wouldn't want a diary-like this lying around, would they?" I said
"That's a brilliant theory Y/N! With just one tiny little flaw. There's nothing written in this diary." He said
" It might be invisible ink." She said. She took out her wand and cast a spell to reveal what was inside.
Nothing absolutely nothing. She hands the book back to Harry with a frown. "I don't know, Harry. But I think you should be careful with this. Something tells me Y/N might be right. It could be dangerous." She said
"You don't think I'm dangerous, do you, Hermione? I mean, you're not scared. Of me" he said with a frown.
"We are both scared, Harry. But definitely not scared of you." She said while I nodded my head. We headed back to the dorms to see Harry messing with the book again.
"Harry let it go that's enough for tonight!" I said
"Well I'm sorry it's just this might be a clue to the chamber and I want to know!"
"Harry listen it could be dangerous. I don't want my friend getting hurt!"
"Well, it's a risk I'm willing to make."
"Your acting absolutely ridiculous Harry."
She walked to the door and got in.
"Y/N wait."
"It's too late I'm going to bed and so should you! Goodnight Harry!" She said slamming the door.
