A New Family | Tommy Angst | Adoption

Panicking

Techno took Tommy to his room and sat him down on the bed. "Are you sure there's nothing you want to talk about?" Techno asked. *Well yes but I don't want to worry you anymore*, "It depends" Tommy said quietly. "Wanna tell me what happened, at the park" Techno asked, trying to sound as calm as possible, trying not to set Tommy off again.

"I-" Tommy stuttered, his breathing started picking up. "Hey Tommy its ok you don't have to, you can tell me when your ready, it's alright." Techno said, going in for a hug when Tommy backed up, immediately making him back up too. "Hey Tommy, wanna do something, maybe draw or-". "Are you mad at me? Is Phil mad at me? Tell him I'm sorry" Tommy blurted out quickly.

"Tommy no ones mad at you, we are more worried than anything, we want to keep you safe". Tommy looked up at Techno and said, with not so much panic in his voice, "Are you sure, but I have caused you so many problems and i-". "Tommy I'm more than sure, want a hug?" Techno said with a smile. Tommy immediately jumped into Technos arms again.

Techno got his phone from his pocket and texted Phil and Wilbur, "Guys plz come into Tommy's room" The text read. Tommy all of a sudden heard multiply footsteps come up the stairs as his shoulders got tensed up. The closer the footsteps sounded the more scared he got.

He looked over Technos shoulder to see Phil and Wilbur standing in the doorway, looking worried as hell. "Are you sure they're not going to hurt me" Tommy whispered into Technos ear. "I'm more then sure" Techno answered. Both Phil and Wilbur sat on the bed next to Tommy and Techno.

Phil went to put his hand on Tommy's face to give him comfort but Tommy flinched and hid his face into Technos shoulder. Phil immediately backed off. "Hey mate, you ok? Do you need anything?" Phil said worriedly, wondering if he can help in anyway. Whilst Wilbur was panicking next to Phil, wondering what he could do to help.

*Get him water, actually no he might need some food. Why would he need food he just threw up. Maybe a blanket, no obviously he doesn't need a blanket he has Technos cape* Wilbur thought as he was panicking silently. *Have I failed him already? Am I a bad big brother? Have I failed Tommy on his second day of him being here?! No that's the last thing I wanted to do and I screwed it up! I-*

"Come here Wilbur" Techno said, holding his free arm out for Wilbur. Wilbur crashed into Techno and immediately hugged him. *Hugging Techno is like hugging a stress reliever, why can't I be like Techno, why do I have to be so awkward around everyone, why can't I just be normal, why-* Techno noticed Wilbur had started to shake more and more, accidentally waking Tommy up.

"Hey Wilbur, are you ok?" Tommy asked. Wilbur didn't respond. "Will" Tommy said again. He got out of the comfort from Techno and hugged Wilbur.

(Btw Phil went downstairs to make the living room look really chill for the boys, to hopefully calm them down)

"H-have I f-failed you T-Tommy" Wilbur said shakily. Tommy looked Wilbur in the eyes and asked, "What do you mean by 'failed you'?". "Tommy, remember when I said that Wilbur feared failing you, that's what he means" Techno said. "Wilbur you haven't failed me, if anything you have been such a good help with everything that has happened so far, and if anything you should be proud of yourself!" Tommy said, calming Wilbur down.

Wilbur smiled and hugged Tommy, making Tommy jump a bit, but he accepted it. *This is all probably just an act* Tommy blocked this thought out and continued to hug Will.

After about 30 minutes of hugging, Phil yelled up to them "Boys can you come down stairs please". They all got up and went downstairs to see a dark room with LEDs at the top of the walls, all a light blue colour with the sofas put together to make a long sofa in front of the TV, with popcorn and sweets in the cup holders of the sofa arm thingys.

Phil looked back at the boys to see surprised looks on their faces. "Wow" they all said at the same time. Phil laughed and said "I figured you guys would need this from all the panicking that's been happening recently". The boys all thanked Phil and put on a movie. Techno sat in the middle of Tommy and Wilbur with Phil next to Wilbur. They decided to put on Happy Feet.
