Tommy woke up first, feeling a heavy weight. He looked down to see the half and half hair of Ranboo. He soon remembered what had happened and pulled the blankets up and over Ranboo. He soon heard footsteps walking down the stairs, it was Phil. He walked over to them both and sat down next to them. "Morning, is he awake?" Phil asked quietly, receiving a no. "Techno told me what happened, I'm not mad that you snuck out, just don't do it ever again" Phil said sternly, getting up to make breakfast. "He can stay for as long as he needs by the way" Phil said from the kitchen, hearing a quiet thanks.

Tommy looked down at Ranboo, he didn't look calm like he had a few minutes ago. His face was twitching, like he was having a nightmare. He then gasped and leaned up a bit as he frantically looked around the room. "You alright" Tommy asked, making him jump and and look at Tommy. His eyes were very wide and full of fear. "Hey, it's ok" Tommy said, sitting Ranboo next to him, instantly feeling arms wrap around him. "It's ok, what happened" Tommy asked whilst stroking his hair. "I-I was b-back there with h-her" Ranboo replied, his breathing was shaky.

"Your not there anymore, your safe at my house" Tommy said whilst rubbing his back. Ranboo nodded as a tear rolled down his face, he hugged Tommy tighter. "You hungry" he asked. Ranboo looked at him and gave a small nod. "Phils making breakfast right now, and you won't be going to school today" Tommy said, going to get up when he was pulled back down by Ranboo. "P-please don't g-go" He cried whilst looking down. "I'm just going to go into the kitchen, I'll be right back, you can stay here" Tommy said with a smile as he released Ranboos hands and walked away. Ranboo backed up into the sofa as memory's flashed infront of him.

He hated it so much, all the hits he had taken was worth it. He deserved it, didn't he? Tommy soon came back, being instantly pounced on and clung to by Ranboo. "What's wrong" Tommy asked him. "I- I don't know, I-I'm sorry" Ranboo said, letting go and backing up into the sofa with his knees up to his chest. "No need to apologise, what's wrong" Tommy asked again, putting his hand on Ranboos knee. "I-I guess I'm j-just scared" Ranboo stuttered, feeling tears enter his eyes again.

"Your safe here ok, you always will be" Tommy said comfortingly. [knock knock knock] He heard. "I'll get it!" Wilbur said, running down the stairs. "Hello". "Helo have you sen me son" the drunk lady said. "I'm sorry, who's your son?" Wilbur asked. Tommy instantly realised and put the blanket over Ranboo and put his hands over his ears before whispering. "I'll go see who's at the door ok, stay here and don't panic ok" he said calmly before getting up and confronting the lady. "Hello, we haven't seen your son sorry" Tommy said and shut the door in her face.

"Tommy! We need to help her!" Wilbur said, going to open the door again. "Wilbur thats Ranboos mum! She can't find him, she'll hurt him" Tommy said, accidentally saying it too loud without realising. "Oh right" Will replied, leaving the door. Tommy sighed in relief and went back to Ranboo, getting the blanket off his head. "I'm ba- come here" Tommy said, bringing him into a tight hug. "S-she's here, s-she's going t-to get me" Ranboo started to panic. "She's not going to find you, she's gone now, come on let's go get some food" he said calmly.

Ranboo instantly clinged to him with tears dropping down his face. "Ranboo look around you, it's ok, she's no where to be seen" Tommy tried to calm him down. Ranboo looked around before hiding his face back into Tommy's shoulder. "It's ok" Tommy said calmly whilst rubbing his back. They soon separated from the hug with Ranboo still attached to Tommy and sat down at the table. Ranboo wouldn't let go of Tommy's hand, he needed him right now. Tommy kept making small circles on his hand whilst eating his own food. "How are you two this morning" Phil asked the 2. "Ok I think" Tommy replied, he looked at Ranboo who was starring at his food, not really touching it.

Tommy nudged him, giving him the look of 'you need to eat'. Ranboo saw the look, and decided to try it. Tommy looked back at Phil and smiled. Once Tommy was done he looked back at Ranboo, he had only had a couple of bites. "Not hungry?" Tommy asked him, snapping him out of his thoughts. "Hm, oh not really" Ranboo replied, looking back at his food. "Wanna go upstairs" Tommy asked again, receiving a nod. He brought them upstairs and to his room. "There isn't really much to do in here but I guess it's better than down there" Tommy said, getting instantly hugged by Ranboo.

"I-I'm scared Tommy and I-I don't know why" Ranboo said, almost in a rush. "Come over here" Tommy said, bringing them to his bed and sitting down. "What's on your mind" he asked calmly. "So much, to much" Ranboo replied with tears dropping down his face. "Wanna talk about it" Tommy replied, wiping the tears away.
"Well... my dads gone so now it's just me and my alcoholic mother and her abusive ways" Ranboo cried out, being brought into a long hug.

"What do you do to feel better" Tommy asked whilst rubbing his back. "W-well I normally go outside b-but now I'm scared to d-do that" Ranboo cried even more. "Nah, we'll be fine, we'll be safe at the park" Tommy said, pulling them outside. "See, we can go for a walk if you want" Tommy said. "S-sure".

They started walking towards the park, seeing Tubbo there alone. "Hey Tubbo! Aren't you supposed to be at school?" Tommy asked, noticing Ranboo had squeezed his hand. He looked back at him and saw him looking at something. It was his mother. Tommy pulled Ranboo towards him and hugged him whilst walking towards the big climbing wall for them to hide behind. Tommy quickly waved for Tubbo to join them. "What's wrong?" Tubbo asked, not having a clue of anything that has happened.

"Basically Ranboos mum is a wrongen so we have to keep him away from her" Tommy explained, feeling Ranboo shaking. "It's ok, it's ok, she's not going to find you and I'll make sure of that" Tommy said, rubbing the back of his head with one hand and rubbing his back with the other. "What shall I do?" Tubbo asked, looking around the wall every now and then. "Just keep a look out and say when she's gone" Tommy said.

After some time, she was no longer in sight. "She's gone" Tubbo cheered. Tommy texted Techno to come to the park just in case Ranboo felt unsafe again. "She's gone! Technoblade?" Tubbo said, scratching his head. "Why's Techno here?" Tubbo looked back at them. "I texted him to come here in case Ranboo felt unsafe again" Tommy said, telling the truth. "Ok then, is he ok" Tubbo asked, pointing at Ranboo.

"I don't know, are you ok" Tommy asked him. "I-I don't know anymore" Ranboo replied through his sobs. "It's ok now, what do you do when your outside?" Tommy asked, trying to change the subject. "I normally just look at the clouds" Ranboo replied, peeling away from the hug. "I can run back and get a blanket-" "No, p-please don't leave me" Ranboo said, cutting Tommy off. "I can go and get a blanket then" Tubbo laughed, heading off. "Hey guys, why are we behind this wall" Techno asked, looking at the 2.

"Don't worry about it, can you just stay here for a bit" Tommy asked, looking at Ranboo every now and then. "Oh yeah sure" Techno replied, getting out his phone and playing some games. (You got games on yo phone?). "Thanks" Tommy replied, seeing Tubbo running back. "Got it!" He yelled to them. He placed it down on the grass. He got the biggest blanket so they can all fit on. They all laid down and looked up at the sky.

They had been looking at the sky for ages, the sun was setting. Bringing the sky to it's pretty colours once again. Tommy and Tubbo were about to leave until they got pulled back down. "Just stay for a bit longer, please" Ranboo said, lying back down and watching the clouds. The other 2 laid back down next to him and watched. Tommy looked over in Technos direction, he was still there. "Techno! You can go now if you want" Tommy yelled over to him. "Nah it's fine, I'll go when you guys go" Techno yelled back over, continuing with his game.

A couple minutes later, they decided to go home. Ranboo held Tommy's hand, Tommy didn't mind it tho, he was kinda used to it by now. Tommy brought Ranboo back to his house where they slept in Tommy's bed. Ranboo had left his phone at his house so he was scared to leave Tommy's side in case anything was to happen.
