A New Family | Tommy Angst | Adoption

Day 8 of School

Tommy woke up, he felt very tired. Someone opened the door. "Get up" Techno said before shutting the door and walking downstairs. Tommy got up, ate and got ready to go, y'know the usual.

Once they were out the car and through the gates, Tommy didn't see George nor Tubbo. "Where's the other 2?" Tommy asked his brothers, like they knew. "How am I supposed to know" Techno answered back, he didn't walk over to his normal spot with Will. "I'm staying here until they arrive just so you know" Techno said again, looking at the now laughing boy. "That's fine" Tommy laughed, still looking around. [DING] The bell had went and they still hadn't arrived so he just thought that they were off sick.

At lunch, Techno and Will sat with Tommy at his normal spot. "They still haven't arrived huh" Will said. "Nope" Tommy answered. After they ate they went outside for a break before their next lessons. Techno peered around the wall to see if Dream was there with the 2 boys. Yes he was there but George and Tubbo weren't. But he did notice someone else was there being pushed around.

"Hey Tommy, do you know that guy?" Techno asked as he pointed at the guy being pushed into the wall. "No but shouldn't we help him?" Tommy said as he began to walk over to them. "Well I mean it's not really our problem- Ow" Techno said before receiving an elbowing from Will. "Fine" Techno sighed before following his little brother around the corner. Techno stepped infront of Tommy whilst Tommy snuck around the bushes to the boy now on the ground.

He noticed the boy had his hood up, but that's not the thing that really caught his eye. It was the fact that the boy was hyperventilating and his hands were shaking a lot. Tommy took his hood down to get a proper look at him. His hair was black on one side and white on the other. "Hey, are you ok, here, just breathe with me ok" Tommy said as he pulled the boy around the other side of the bushes so they couldn't be seen. The boy nodded and breathed with Tommy. "What's your name" Tommy asked calmly.

"R-Ranboo, I-I'm new" Ranboo said shakily. Tommy nodded before continuing, trying to get Ranboos mind off what just happened. "What's your favourite thing to do Ranboo". "W-well I like t-to day dream most of the time, and draw" Ranboo explained, Tommy nodded again. "Collect anything?". "Not really". "Want a hug?" Tommy asked, looking Ranboo in the eyes, he immediately looked away. "S-sorry, I'm not good with eye contact, and also, a hug would be nice" Ranboo replied. Tommy pulled Ranboo into a hug, making Ranboo sigh from the stress.

"Your ok now" Tommy said in a comforting way. "Hey are you ok kid?" Techno said from behind him, making him jump. "Y-yes, t-thank you" Ranboo replied, standing up with Tommy. "It's alright" Techno said before walking away. "Don't mind him, he's just the grumpy yet scary one of the school" Will said before walking with him, making Tommy laugh. "Those 2 are my brothers, well, not blood related but still my brothers" Tommy said. "Oh, I'm Tommy by the way, wanna be friends?" Tommy asked, Ranboo nodded.

"Are you in my year, year 8?" Tommy asked, Ranboo nodded once more. [DING]. "I see we have got the same class! That's good, I can show you where it is" Tommy said, bringing his new friend with him.

At the end of the day, Tommy and Ranboo walked out of the school. They were walking towards the gates until Ranboo got pulled back, making Tommy turned around quickly. It was Dream, of cause. "Come here, don't worry I won't hurt you *yet*" Dream snickered, pulling Ranboo by his shoulders. Ranboo was about Tommy's hight, just a bit taller. "Yeah no, I don't think so" Tommy said, running behind Ranboo and dragging Dreams hands off him. "Go away now, or else" Tommy said intimidatingly, this just made Dream laugh.

"Or what" Dream laughed again, looking down at the boy. Tommy pulled Ranboo behind him so Dream couldn't grab him again. "Well I mean it's quite obvious" Tommy thought out loud. "Again, again Dream, give it a rest already" Techno said from behind Dream, making him jump. "Oh haha, hi Technoblade, I'll just be on my way now" Dream said whilst going around him and running away.

Tommy looked around and saw Ranboo panicking again. "It's ok, it's ok" Tommy said, quickly pulling him into a hug. Ranboo calmed down and wiped the forming tears away. "You ok now, note to self, stay away from him and anyone who's around him" Tommy said to Ranboo, pulling away from the hug. Ranboo nodded, still calming down. "Since your Tommy's new friend, I am now assigned to protect you" Techno said to Ranboo. "T-thank you?" Ranboo laughed. Tommy saw the car pull up, "I'll see you tomorrow, bye!" Tommy waved before hopping into the car along with Techno and Will.

"Who was that?" Phil asked whilst driving away. "Ranboo, we saved him from Dream so now he's my new friend, and he's new to the school so it's perfect" Tommy explained. "Well that's good!" Phil said.

Tommy hopped out the car and ran up to his room to text the group chat. "Guys! I got a new friend!" Tommy's text read. "Oh really? Who?" They replied. "His names Ranboo, we saved him from Dream, also why were you guys off today?" Tommy texted back. "Sick" They both replied with. "I'll be in tomorrow, can I meet him" Tubbo texted, quite excited for a new friend. "Same" George put. "Of cause! He's new and seems fragile so be nice! I don't mean that in a mean way btw" Tommy put back to them.

"Got to go now, just been called for dinner" Tommy put before putting the phone down and heading to the table. They all ate, got ready for bed and went to sleep.
