~ 1 year later ~

3rd person POV

It's been a year and Rylie's still in a comma. Jane has always visited her before and after she teaches. She's still a teacher btw. Jane has been hanging out with her friends when someone can watch over Rylie. Although Rylie's in a comma, a lot of things never changed like Jane's love and care for her. Until one day..

Jane's POV

"It's been a long day my love, teaching today was tiring. I miss you, I hope I can see your beautiful eyes shine again." I said while holding Rylie's hand

Well she's still in a comma. She's getting pale and she needs breathing apparatus to live.

My thoughts were interrupted by an uncommon beeping sound, so I turned to Rylie who is now stirring on the bed. I quickly got out and called the nurses 

" Miss, you need to stay outside.. We need to check on her as quickly as possible. So calm down"

I couldn't help but think what will happen to her. I just know I can't lose her

~ 2 hours later ~

Her doctor came out of the room and was looking for me, so I stood up and approached them

" Hey doc, how's Rylie?" I asked nervously

" She's awake but she has forgotten things or might as well you call an amnesia" The doctor replied

" What?! Is it going to be temporary?" I asked again

" Were not sure miss Thompson, but we'll have to conduct more tests. For now, you can go see her" He said

I immidiately went to her room and saw her pouting like a child.

" Um hey Ry" I said calmly

" Hey hey hey, who are you?" She asked 

" Aww my baby doesn't remember me" I cooed

" What? Me? A baby? No way" She said confidently

" But no seriously who are you?" She asked

" I'm actually your girlfriend" I confessed and boy I tell you she was so shocked

" Wait- No it can't be. I don't even believe in love!" She panicked

" Calm down please.." I said while gently holding her hand

She suddenly calmed down and looked at me confused

" H- how did you do that?" She asked again

" Do what?" I asked back

" How did you just calm me down?" She said while giving her full attention to me

" You tend to calm down when I hold your hand so I guess I just had the sudden urge to do that now. Just please give me a chance. Listen to me so you'd remember" I replied

" Only if you promise to take me out for lunch.." She smirked

" You never change huh? Fine. I'll take you out for lunch if you're good to go" I replied said which made her smile

" Do you promise?!" She yelled in delight

" Yes yes. Now will you listen to me?" I asked

" Fine gimme a kiss first!" She requested while doing her famous puppy eyes and pout

I did her request and gave her a peck on her lips

As I was about to tell her what happened, then door suddenly creaked open
