Liam's point of view

Everything was all planned out and ready, today would be the day.

While the boys were busy putting in the last finishing touches I needed to get Niall to comed with me.

This appeared to be quite a difficult task as he kept asking where we were going, of course I couldn't tell him that since this was supposed to be a surprise event.

Let's just hope he wouldn't get too suspicious about what was going on as we were on our way to the place the boys had decorated for the occasion.

Zayn's point of view

While Liam was bringing Niall over here, Harry, Louis and I were working on getting everything perfect.

Liam had called us two days ago, telling us about his plan and asking us if we wanted to help him out.

Of course we all agreed to help out, which is how we ended up in the woods.

The woods where we always came on our runs had an open space with a pond surrounded by flowers, it was truly a breathtaking sight.

While I was getting the table ready Harry was cooking all the food on a portable stove and Louis was hanging up lights around the line of trees surrounding us.

It was silent and peaceful, in the distance you could hear the birds singing as they were flying around along with other animals that lived in these woods.

Liam had truly made the right choice, this was the perfect place to ask Niall to marry him.

The thought of them getting married was exciting, I had known Liam and Niall since we were all really young, they belonged together and I was really happy for them.

Let's just hope they aren't thinking of having children yet.

It was about an hour later and we were finished preparing the scene for Liam's proposal, Liam and Niall could arrive any minute now.

The three of us hid behind the trees, waiting to come out after Liam had proposed.

It wasn't long before two pairs of footsteps were heard along with the excited chatter of Niall who kept asking what was happening and why they were here.

Liam's point of view.

This was it then, we were almost at the open space and I could feel my heart begin to beat faster with every step we took.

I was nervous, even though Niall was my mate he could still say no.

maybe he would think it was too early to get married or maybe he thought it was stupid.

Doubts were racing through my mind but they were quickly replaced when I heard Niall gasp'

'Li-Li what is this?'

I smiled softly as I spoke up. 'Just wanted to surprise you, come on.'

I led Niall to his seat like you would always see in those cheesy movies on tv before sitting down myself.

I took off the bowls revealing all the food, Harry really put a lot of work into making all of this.

For a while we were just eating and talking about our surroundings, enjoying the calm atmosphere around us.

As the minutes ticked by my nerves started to grow bigger again, I couldn't wait any longer.

'Niall baby can you stand up for me?' I asked, my voice wavering a bit.

Niall raised his eyebrow in question but did as I asked nonetheless.

As I got down on one knee in front of him his eyes widened, his hand coming up to cover his mouth.

'Niall,

I have known you since we were just little pups, always playing around and pulling pranks on people.

As we grew older I realised my feelings for you started to grow beyond our friendship.

it wasn't long before we both realised we wanted more.

A year later we were happily mated to each other.

I will never forget that day, as it was one of the happiest days in my life.

As the years passed by we grew even closer, everyone could see at a single glance that we belonged to each other.

Baby I have loved you since then and I will continue to love you for the rest of our lives.

No matter what happens I want to be with you forever.

Baby will you make me the happiest man alive and marry me?

As soon as I finished Niall fell down in my arms crying.

I put my arms around him securely, never wanting to let him go.

'Yes, yes, yes I... Of course I will marry you Li.' I heard Niall's muffled voice.

When Niall pulled back I smiled, putting the ring on his finger.

'I love you baby' I whispered before kissing him softly.

Not long after the boys appeared from behind the trees, smiling as they ran up to us to engulf us into a big group hug and congratulating us on the engagement.
