Harry's point of view

Today we would all be getting the results of our exams.

Nervous were bubbling in our stomachs as soon as we got up that morning.

Having decided that we didn't want to hear the results apart from each other, we had all agreed to spend the day at mine and Louis's house.

At around nine in the morning we were all gathered together in our living room with some snacks and drinks, all five of our phones on the table in front of us.

They had told us we would be getting a call between ten and one that day if we graduated.

A movie was playing on the tv in front of us but none of us were paying any attention to it, preoccupied with staring holes through our phones.

Suddenly at about eleven-fifteen all of our phones began to ring, all of them except Louis's phone.

All of us stood up, reaching for our cellphones and picking up as fast as we could.

While the examiner told me that I graduated and that I would be expected at the school around five in the evening for the graduation ceremony, I heard the other boys cheer and scream as well.

Thanking my examiner I hung up the phone and joined in on the little celebration dance, soon enough though I realised Louis's phone hadn't gone off yet.

I stopped the boys and went over to Louis who was curled up on the couch.

As soon as I sat down next to him he crawled onto my lap and started crying.

'I failed Hazza, I'm bad. I didn't do it.'

Louis kept mumbling the same sentence over and over again, tears pricking my eyes as I saw my mate so broken.

I placed soft butterfly kisses all over his face and neck as I kept whispering how good he was and that everything would be okay, hoping to calm him down a bit.

I was so preoccupied with calming Louis down that I didn't realise his phone was ringing at first, only realising it was when I lifted my head a bit and saw the screen flash.

Snatching the phone off the table I picked up, knowing LOuis was too shaken up to do so himself.

'Hello, Harry styles speaking.'

'Ah euhm hello mister styles, I am looking for Louis Tomlinson is this not his phone?'

'It is but he can't come to the phone right now, If you can tell me why you're looking for him I can pass on the message.'

'Well then mister Styles, may I kindly ask who you are before I give you any information about my student.'

At that point I noticed, the person calling was Louis's homeroom teacher.

But why was he calling? We were told homeroom teachers would only call the people that failed to graduate.

'I'm his mate.' I answered flatly, still putting the phone on speaker for Louis to hear whatever news was going to come next.

'Well Mr.Styles I am calling to inform Louis that he graduated top of his class and that the school wants to honor him. Congratulate him for me will you, he is expected at school this evening for the graduation ceremony.'

'Ah yes sir I will, thank you.' I spoke up before hanging up the phone and throwing it on the couch next to me.

Congratulations baby boy, you did it. You even graduated top of your class.' I whispered softly in Louis's ear before kissing him.

The rest of the day was spent getting ready for the graduation night, with a lot of jokes and fooling around in the process.

We had called our families to let them know and eventually it was time for us to leave.

At five in the evening we were all sitting in the schools auditoriu, filled to the brim with graduating students and their friends and families.

Louis and I had found our designated spots pretty quickly, sitting down in the row right in front of our parents.

The graduation ceremony began as we were all called to the stage in small groups to accept our diploma's.

The people who graduated top of their class were honored by the school and gave a small speech under the constant cheering of the rest of the students.

At the end of the ceremony we all threw our graduation caps into the air and cheered.

After the ceremony we all gathered together and went back to our place to celebrate with some champaign.

From this moment onwards our real future would begin.
