Harry's point of view

Two days after I had asked Louis to move in with me, he took me home to ask his mother for her consent.

What Louis didn't know was that his mother already knew as she was involved in planning the whole anniversary event.

So while Louis was going to the bathroom his mother smiled at me.

'Seeing as you are here I take it 'he said yes.' She asked whilst moving to put away the dishes.

'He did but before he would move in we wanted your consent.'

'Come on now Harry, as soon as you told me about it and I helped with the planning you already had my consent. And even before that when I saw how happy Louis was when he was with you was already enough for me. Take good care of my baby Harry, he deserves to be happy more than anyone else.' She stated, getting a bit more serious.

'I will Jay, Louis means the world to me so I will do everything in my power to make him happy.'

As soon as I had said that I heard soft footsteps approaching the kitchen, Louis appearing in the doorway not much later.

'So I just heard my little baby is leaving me alone and moving out.' Jay spoke up, smiling at her son.

Louis looked at his mother and then at me before a big smile broke out on his face.

'So does that mean that's a yes' he asked, excitedly jumping up and down.

His mother nodded and I smiled as the two of them embraced each other.

They whispered to each other for a while before Louis nodded and pulled back, probably his mother telling him to take good care of himself and to come visit often.

'So when are you moving out?'

'Next week since spring break is starting then.' Louis said as his mother nodded slowly.

Although she was really happy for us I could see it was hard for her to let her son go, so to comfort her a bit I spoke up.

'It's probably a good idea for you to stay with your mother this weekend too, have some time together before you move out. After the move we can ofcourse just make it a custom to come visit and stay over during the weekends when your mother doesn't have to work.'

At that both Louis and his mother smiled, nodding in agreement.

And so the rest of that week Louis stayed with his mother, spending as much time together as they could before he would move in with me.

Finally the day of the move arrived.

Zayn and Rose had come over to help pack Louis's stuff and move everything over to our now shared home.

When everything was moved over we all sat down in the kitchen for some refreshing drinks.

Louis had slept over many times over the weekends, half of the time he was already practically living here anyways, but now that all his stuff was here and he officially moved in I couldn't be happier.

Now this house truly felt like a home.

We had two weeks of spring break before we had to take our exams and graduate if everything went well

The day after Louis moved in we were sitting in the living room, surrounded by books as we were studying.

It took about two hours before I heard Louis sigh, slamming his book shut.

At this I looked up, seeing that Louis was already staring at me.

'Can we please do something else for a bit my brain is going to explode.' He groaned.

I laughed, shaking my head. Louis really was very impatient and curious all the time once you got to know him.

'Sure Lou, want to go bake some cupcakes? I bought the ingredients for them last weekend.'

Louis's eyes sparkled as he frantically nodded his head.

'Yes please I love cupcakes!'

I smiled fondly at him as we stood up, walking into the kitchen

We grabbed all of the ingredients out of the cupboards and the fridge before we went to work.

I had tasked Louis with opening the bag of flower but when he did, flower flew up everywhere. hitting him in his face and landing all over his clothing.

I looked up at him and started laughing, he looked genuinely offended.

Louis started pouting as he looked at me and I just couldn't help but to kiss that pout right of his face.

When I pulled back Louis looked at me blushing before we both burst out laughing again.

Seeing Louis blushing like that just made me fall in love with him even more, he looked so cute whenever he did.

Almost about an hour and a half of laughing, joking and trying to bake later, the cupcakes finally went into the oven.

We grabbed some drinks and watched tv as we were waiting for the cupcakes to finish baking.

Soon enough the oven made a sound, indicating that the cupcakes were done.

I walked into the kitchen and got the cupcakes out of the oven, Louis hot on my tail as he looked like an excited kid in a candy shop.

I really did love that about him, I loved how Louis was so innocent and shy all the time.

I loved how he would suddenly turn really sassy whenever he was comfortable enough.

But most of all I loved how small he was, how I could just pick him up and carry him whenever I pleased.

I was pulled from my thoughts when I heard Louis let out a yelp, I had probably never turned around faster in my entire life.

Louis was standing in front of the cupcakes holding his hands, tears threatening to spill from his eyes.

I quickly took him over to the sink to cool down the burn as I rubbed his back, telling him it was okay.

'The baking tray is really hot Lou I just got it out of the oven, If you want a cupcake you have to wait for it to cool down a bit more okay.'

Louis nodded at that, burying his head in my shoulder.

After waiting for about an hour for it to cool down completely I walked back into the kitchen, grabbing two cupcakes.

As I went back into the living room and handed Louis his cupcake he smiled, looking like he already forgot about the burn as he started happily munching away on his cupcake.
