I had watched my family leave the house some hours ago, and I had given the household a night off. Lying once more; I will be staying at Tori's, but they should know what a teenager would do when they have a house to themselves.
"So we are going to assemble the huge party Summerlin has never seen."

"I don't like this idea." Evie pouts from my bedroom couch.

The beats from the ground floor are already throbbing through the walls of the entire building.

Tori is slipping her legs into some black high boots when she tells Evie. "You better do because Marc will be here."

Marc is another exchange student who joined us last semester. It's obvious Evie has a crush on him.

"I don't care about his presence. Supposing Mr Boyce calls the school on his way to the Mountain house, what do you think will happen?"

I purse my lips and pat her shoulder with my hand. "Someone once told me to let myself enjoy my teenage days. I think you deserve the words right now more than I do." It feels like a millennium ago, though.

So without letting myself feel any emotion, I walked to my wardrobe and applied more perfume under my arms and around the nook of my neck.

"You know I can't stay long, right? My parent has no..."

"I called Jacob. He's gonna tell them you're at my place for the night." Tori, who was studying her reflection in the mirror, interrupted her, and Evie breathed. "Oh dear lord." Arousing laughter from the two of us.

When Tori and I care less about consequences, Evie is always the 'don't do this, don't do that kind of person, just like I used to be.

We descended the staircase in our high waist shorts and cropped tops, well, at least Tori and I since Evie refuses to match; instead, she wore some knee-length gown we've shopped some weeks back.

The house is already a mess, given the fact that the party started two hours ago, but we are just making an appearance.

In case you're wondering who's handling everything down here when we weren't there, it's Lisa, my prior enemy who is now my mate.

"This is a bad idea. You have your lamps destroyed." Evie stuttered to the scene before us.

"Christian will probably renovate the house before mom returns," I assured. And I am sure that's what he would do. The house has been refurbished for the third time since their marriage. So why wouldn't he do it again?

"He really would do that?" Both girls ask as I receive gracious compliments from my guests.

"Supposing he doesn't, mom will shit a brick when she sees the image of her house after this party," I smirk and make my way to the main deals of the party. I meant the alcohol, in case you don't know.

"Isn't that your parent's photo albums?" Tori exclaimed while I served myself something strong.

"Sweet cheese, your parent's bedroom is open." Evie begins to panic. "We are so dead. This time we aren't only going to jail; we are going straight to hell."

"I thought you said you locked it?" Tori countered.

The fuck I care.

"I did?" I take a swig of my drink and curl my lip up at her before lazily adding. "Oh no, please tell me Lisa hasn't worn my mom's bra as promised."

The two girls shoot me a confounded glare, and Tori directs my head to my right. "Look."

And so I acknowledged; the girl sure has balls, though.
