I ran into the living room with Moira and saw a policeman towering over Billie on the ground as they put handcuffs on her.

"Billie!" I squealed, my eyes watering.

She looked up at me worried, but they stood her up.

"It's okay, Princess. I'll call" She said, her voice cracking while looking at Moira.

Moira was crying, not knowing why I was crying and where mama was going.

"Aww" I sniffled, rubbing her little back.

"Ma'am, we need you to come with us" An officer walked up to me.

"What? Why?" I sniffled, looking up at him, holding my crying baby close to me as she clutched onto my sleep shirt.

"You're not allowed here, we have your mom's address, get a few of you and your baby's things and we can talk more about this in the car" He said gently.

"N-no, I want to stay here! This is me and Billie's house" I whimpered, my eyes watering.

"I understand, but we just need you to cooperate right now. Please get you and your baby's things" He said through his mask.

"I don't wanna" I cried, starting to shake uncontrollably.

"Sit down, please. Don't drop your baby" He pointed at the couch.

I continued to cry, sitting on the couch now.

"Should I call your mom?" He asked, looking at me.

"Sure" I sniffled, looking down at Moira who was snoozing.

I smiled, rubbing her small arm.

"W-who called you?" I asked quietly, looking at him.

"Your step-dad. He was just worried about your relationship, so am I" The officer sat down, handing me the phone to type in her number.

"He wasn't so worried when he hit me infront of my baby" I took the phone, dialing her number.

I know what he's doing.

"Alright, we'll go more into that in the report" He said, putting the phone to his ear.

After a few seconds, my mom answered.

"Hello? Is this..." The officer trailed off, looking at me.

"Jane" I answered, patting Moira's butt as she became fussy.

"Jane? This is Officer Hue from the Sheriff's Department" He continued.

"I have your daughter and your... granddaughter. Would you like me to drive them to your home?" He asked softly, itching his eyebrow.

"Alright, we'll be over in a second" He said, nodding his head.

He hung up the phone and looked at me.

"Go get stuff to take home for a while" He stood up.

I looked at him again, my eyes watering as I held Moira.

"I know" He said, rubbing my arm.

"No you don't" I sobbed, starting to cry again.

"Alright, I'll go get your things for you" He stood up, starting to walk into the hall.

"Wait" I said, getting up.

He stopped, waiting for me.

10:00 p.m.

"Here you go, there's the last bag" I heard the cop say behind me to my mom as I sat on the couch with Moira, zoning out.

"Thanks, have a good night, officer" She said softly in her robe, closing the door.

After a few seconds, she walked over to me quietly and sat Moira's diaper bag down.

I looked up at her with my red eyes, before looking back down.

"I'm sorry, honey, he didn't tell me he did all this" She said, sitting next to me and rubbing my cheek.

"Mhm" I hummed quietly, latching Moira back on because she keeps turning away, looking for Billie.

"Really, baby. I didn't know a thing—"

"I believe you, okay?" I said, sounding a little feisty.

My mom stared at me for a little, before rubbing a piece of hair behind my ear.

"Are you hungry, honey? I have—"

"No, momma. I'm sleepy, I just wanna go to bed" I said, looking at her.

"Okay" She nodded, standing up.

"Goodnight, baby" She rubbed my cheek kissing my face.

"Goodnight ma, I love you" I smiled weakly, looking up at her.

"Love you too" She said, walking into the hall and into her room where the pussy ass hoe is.

I sighed, before breaking down crying silently, not wanting to upset Moira.

"Oh" I sobbed into my hands, trying to be as quiet as possible.

I miss my Billie!

Moira whined under me, unlatching herself again and tugging on my hair.

"It's fine, honey" I smiled at her, sniffling.

I picked up a couple bags and put Moira in the baby skin to skin carrier.

Moira rested her head on my chest as we walked to my room I thought  was my old one.

But I guess I was wrong...
