A Skryna, here? China knew the smell of blood came from it. It looked to be sleeping but it might be dead. He immediately saw that closed eyes seemed to be lightly glowing. A cyan color. So it's alive.
China and the rest of the BRICS had learned that Skryna's eyed were usually red, blood red. But this one? China didn't necessarily feel scared but he knew he would have to be ready if it decided to attack him. But for some reason, it seemed harmless. He looked behind him. He was still alone, except with the snoring Skryna of course.
He went closer and knelt down. Then he saw it. Bite marks, just about the size of adult Skryna jaws. The marks were around its neck, teeth having been embedded deep into the vulnerable area. Naturally, China felt pity for this one. It must have been attacked by its own kind. So that was the feeling of pain and fear he felt earlier. This Skryna was probably outcasted.
He sighed slightly and without thinking sat down cross legged in front of it and took in its sleeping form. It's tail was tucked in front of its face, covering it and despite being a Skryna it sort of resembled a dragon. He smiled slightly. It looked adorable. He mustn't let his guard down though. He had to be ready if it woke up. But he didn't feel like he had to kill it. Strange...
China was sitting in front of the Skryna. It should wake up soon. Skryna have pretty good smell. Slightly curious he patted it. It had rough skin.

It snuffled softly and he saw it slowly opening its eyes

It snuffled softly and he saw it slowly opening its eyes.
    It's pupils narrowed.
It screeched.
Then looked at him confused when he didn't run away.
      China looked at it.
"Hello."
Any bystander would've said, "What the hell??! What are you doing?! Run!"

The Skryna froze. The creature in front of it had spoke to it. But it didn't understand what he said.

China looked around. Qing wasn't here. So was this what Qing wanted him to find? A nearly dead Skryna that was apparently their enemy?
The Skryna's cyan eyes stared straight at him. It growled lowly, as if in warning, but didn't attack him. Strange again... Skryna can speak, but this one didn't. Was it mute? He never heard of a mute Skryna before.
"Great, what do I do?"China thought as the Skryna glared at him. "I can't go away or else it might start chasing. But I don't want to fight it either because it's injured. Should I help it?" He looked at the neck wounds the Skryna had. He didn't have anything to heal it. Soon he heard a familiar (small) roar.
       Qing was back.
The tiny yellow dragon's appearance distracted the Skryna for a bit. It squeaked and landed on China's shoulder. Then Qing turned to look at the Skryna.
It lowered its head and sniffed.
China looked at Qing as the Skryna turned to smell him as well. It seemed curious, not hostile now. It also seemed pretty ignorant about the situation between its species and the countryhumans.

He stared back at it and soon it thrusted its head forward and... whined? He didn't know how else to describe the sound. It was small, and pitiful. When he got a closer look he realized this was a pretty small Skryna. It wasn't one of adults, that was for sure. It's cyan eyes looked at him. Qing snorted.
       "Qing?"China asked. "What?"

"That should be enough,"China said, rolling up the leftover bandages. The wound was disinfected and taken care of. What a busy night. And he wasn't even done yet. He turned to Qing. "You're going to have to help me figure out where our new friend is going to sleep."

All the dragon did was snort.
