My name is Diamond Nareé. A twenty-three-year-old young, African American woman who was born and raised in a small town in Michigan.
I began writing in year 2020, at the age of nineteen years old. Learning the tricks to the trade of the publishing industry wasn't easy, however, I found my way.
Writing is something I never thought I could do until I realized the power within it. It was my outlet, my voice, and my strength. There's nothing more that I have ever wanted than to share my dreams and visions with the world. Give my full, authentic self. I've always wanted to connect with others in a way that I couldn't ever before and I'm grateful to have a platform to do so.
I've come to discover that being a writer isn't just a passion or my career, it is my home and the readers are my family. I couldn't have done this without your support and your love.
In this story, I give you, me. Things I never felt strong enough to share, things I thought I couldn't heal from. I can be here not only as an author but as a voice for others who aren't able to speak their truth. I'm here to tell you that you will survive, you can overcome. You can be whole again. I hope knowing my story and where I ended, can make a true impact.
Here's my story.
