Chapter 12

A week passed since I entered the hospital, and I'm finally allowed to leave. I got all my belongings to the car, and Dakota hopped into the drivers seat and I hopped into shot gun. I laid my arm on the arm rest, then he laid his arm down next to mine. He waited a few seconds before he entangled our figures together. I scooted closer to him and kiss his cheek as he drove.

Once we got home, I took my old clothes to my room and ran down stairs. I was just itching to shift into my wolf form. The itching kept getting worse. It started to feel like I was burning. Once I got outside, I entered the woods and shifted. It felt so nice and the itching was slowly calming down. I started to run as fast as I could. Until a familiar and intoxicating scent filled my nostrils. I ran to that direction and found a house. I stayed hidden in the woods until I saw Dakota come out from the house. Once I saw him, I let the bond pull me to him as I ran to him. Still in my wolf form, he seemed shocked at first then ran over to me.

He started to pet my soft fur and make me purr in happiness. He just smiled in satisfaction and put his forehead on mine. I looked him in the eyes and saw... True love. The one thing I always wanted. The one thing no one could fully give me.

I shifted back to my human form and kept looking at his mesmerizing eyes. I finally had a mate, a pack, someone to be at my side. Everything that a girl could want... Well at least a wolf girl. What cut me of my thoughts was Dakota's voice, and I was shocked at what he said.

"Can I mark you?" He asked with a serious yet loving tone. All I could do is nod. He smiled brightly and picked me up bridal style.

We went into his bedroom and he gently put me on his bed. Right after, he started to kiss me on my lips. I felt so many things during the kiss, sparks, lust, love, and passion. Before I knew it, his kisses left my mouth and trailed along my jaw. Then they traveled to my neck. He kissed and nipped at my neck until he found my sweet spot. When he bit it, I let out a small moan. His canines enlonged and marked me as his. I felt pain and passion.

When he took his teeth out of my neck, he licked the drops of blood coming from where he bit me. I smiled weakly, since the mark drained a lot out of me. It seemed it did the same with Dakota because his eyes started to open and close slowly. We then laid on his bed and cuddled each other. With in minutes we both fell asleep.

I woke up and looked at the clock near his bed. It was 10:52 at night. I tried to get up but Dakota's arms around me tightened. I knew I wasn't getting out of this anytime soon, so I laid back down and faced Dakota. I kissed his cheek and put my hand to my mark. I smiled to myself, then looked at Dakota. His eyes were opened and looking at me. I bet if he wasn't holding me, I would have been on the ground by now. He kissed me on my lips and pulled me closer to him.

"So... Now what?" I said in between our small kisses.

"I don't know... What do you want to do, Sweet cheeks?" He said as he sat up and patted his legs.

"Can we get some ice cream?" I said, sitting myself on his lap.

"Of course." He said kissing my cheek.

He started to stand up, and carried me bridal style. I giggled at his action and wrapped my arms behind his neck. He walked us out to the car and put me down when we were next to it. Before I could even try to open the car door, he already opened it. I thanked him and got in. He ran over the the drivers seat and got in. He started the ignition, and off we went.
