Hello, I am Kodi Muil, a seventeen year old ftm transgender child. Well, my birth name is Candice. I have a twin brother named Andrew or Andy, a brother who is a freshman in College, a nineteen year old, named Nathan, and a sixteen year old sister named Riley.

Currently, my parents are not very accepting of me being transgender, so Nathan took me in under his wing. He helped me get on hormones as well, and now he is reregistering me at school as Kodi Muil. So I will still get to see Riley and Andy.

"Hey, lil' bro. Are you ready for school?" Nathan asked. I shoved a piece of bread in my mouth unhappily-a habit I have when I am nervous-and nodded. He smiled a little sympathetically, "you don't need to lie, Kodi. I am sure everything will be okay, and you do not need to tell them you were formally Candice. In fact, we can say Candice moved to a boarding school or something if you want." I smiled, still nervous, at my brother.

"Thanks, Nathe" I forced down the last bit of toast before I gave him a big hug.

It took us only a few minutes to get to my school. I slung my bookbag over my shoulder as I hopped out of the car, a sudden extreme nervousness washed over me in one big wave. I suddenly felt as if I didn't pass.

"Do I...look okay? Well enough to pass?" I asked, gulping. Nathan chuckled.

"You look fine, lil' bro. Now, you better get your class schedule before you are late" Nathan said, earning a smile from me.

"Thanks, Nathe. I will see you after school" I said and headed towards the office, first shutting the car door. I was tackled to the ground in a hug.

"Kodi!" she squealed. I sighed.

"Hey, Riles" I mumbled, earning a giggle from my sister. She got off me.

"How's Nathan? Is he doing good?" she smiled. I nodded as we walked towards the office building.

"He is doing great" I said honestly, and we entered the office. A blonde haired and blue eyed lady sat at the desk. I recognized her as Mrs. Rudolph, a very strict lady that I disliked. Gulping, I walked up to her desk, Riley in toe behind me.

"What do you need?" she asked in a monotonous voice. I took a deep breath before answering.

"I am Kodi Muil, the new student" I said, and she nodded. I watched as she typed some things in before printing out some paperwork.

She handed over a single sheet of paper, "here is your class schedule for the semester."

I mumbled a quick "thanks" before I went to go find my first class. I would find Andy later.
