Just One Summer ( One Shot )

Hello everyone,

This is my very first one shot and completed story. I hope you liked it guys. I know I need some improvements and I am open for some corrections and suggestions.

Thank you for Atheena Mei Camacho once again for encouraging me to pursue writing. I dedicated it for you because you believed on me.

I also dedicated it for those who believed and believing on me. Thank you for the trust and undying support.

Thank you so much for reading and appreciating my work. I hope you will walked again with me on my other on going stories.

If you're a beginner like me,
I hope I inspired and motivated you. Always keep going. Keep writing and inspiring others. Never stop reaching your dreams but never be a slave on it.

You're the leader of your own path.
You're the king/ queen in your own palace.
You're the one who will make your own future.

Always centered God in every decisions you will make. Always asked Him to guide you in every path. And always thank Him in everyday.

I hope you've learned something from the story of Ali and Basti. I know some of you will think that this one is a very tragic story, but for me, even they didn't end up together, it's a happily ever after still, because even the years separated them for so long, even they've been hurt with those past years. At the end, they still find a way back to arms of each other. They still find their home. They still watched together how the sun and ocean meet. How the king bowed, just to kissed her ocean queen. How the queen waited for his king. And even Basti died without even recognizing Ali, his heart still do.

Love is a sacrifice.
Love is not selfish.
And love never envy.

I want everyone to open our hearts. Always appreciate and be thankful to all the things even how big or small it is. Always tell to your love ones how much you love them because life is too short. No one can tell what will happen next.

And like what Ali did, even those people hurt her. Even those people taken away her happiness for so long. In the end, she choose to forgive them in able to make herself be free from the pain of yesterday.

It's hard to forgive but I want everyone to know the good feelings of forgiveness. Learn to forgive others. Learn to forgive yourself. With this, you will finally set your heart be free, from those pain, from those regrets, and from those hurtful memories. And after all of this, you will start again to love others especially yourself. You will find yourself walk again with a grateful heart.

We all suffer in every different problems. But like how Basti and Ali waited for the sunset, let us all wait for a new beautiful day. It's not the end of everything. There is always hope in everyday. And after all of this, we will meet the peace of mind that all we wanted.

And let's all stop shaming for those who's suffering Mental Illness. Mental Health Matters. Let's open our hearts and mind that Depression and anxiety is not a joke. Let's all show our love and care to them. Give them a proper support to overcome all of this.
