I sighed impatiently.

Me and Kaito were investing the shopping centre we got forcefully sent to and we found merchandise.

"Henry...Stickman? Oh hey, is this a mini astronaut?! Maki, Maki look!" My boyfriend childishly pulled me along.

I sighed heavily again before a force had my lips form a curve.

"Hehe, should I get purple or red? They've gotta be holding hands!" He grinned like always.

"Ha, do whatever you want, Kaito..." I chuckled.

He looked like one of the kids at the orphanage, how they'd always cling to me and ask me to play with them.

I barely say it but...I love you so much. I love the way you keep calling me silly nicknames from Maki-roll to starlight...or starshine.

Even though I tell you to stop, you keep doing it...it makes me feel fuzzy...

If could the sun got dimmer every time you told me I love you, the world would've ended by now.

I smiled internally. I'm so thankful for you Kaito. Sorry I can be a bit harsh at times...

"Hey...? Maki-roll? You alive?" I saw a tan hand wave in front me.

"Huh? Oh yeah?"

I acknowledged my surroundings and realised that Y/N was across from me and Kaito.

Rantaro was on the speakers with that girl except he looked exhausted, like he was scared he was adjusting to this weird situation; the girl next to him was smiling as usual.

So casually it was almost alarming.

Everyone was standing behind the speakers and in front of the tree.

And I was...sitting on Kaito's lap...

Once I realised it, I was confident my whole face flushed with a brighter red than than the mini astronaut from moments ago.

Thankfully, Kaito didn't say anything about it but do a thumbs up.

I saw Y/N snicker and do 👌 from where I was.

I averted my eyes even more in embarrassment since I couldn't act threatening...
