Chapter 18: Just boring
Jungkook had finished his job, and Taehyung had already left to return to his work. Jungkook shut down his laptop and turned it off. He rose from his swivel chair and took the blazer that hung on the back of his chair. He put it on and untied his tie. He was awakened by a knock at his door.
"Come in." Jungkook said Ji Eun enters the room, holding files in her hands.
"The files for Erwan's case are here." Ji Eun said and put it on the table.
"Thank you; please leave it there; I'm leaving." Jungkook said when he walks out of his cabin, he enters the elevator and waits for it to arrive on the first floor.
Taehyung, on the other hand, outside of the law firm. He was expecting Jungkook to arrive. Jimin and J-hope had already left. When his gaze wandered, he saw an unidentified car approaching him and stopping in front of him. Four black suit men emerge from the car, each wearing a black necktie.
"Prime Minister Bo called you, Attorney Jeon Taehyung." Says one of the black-suited men.
"He should've scheduled a meeting with me if he asked for me." Taehyung expressed himself solemnly.
"Attorney, he needs his anonymity, so come follow us." The same black-suited fellow spoke and extended his hand.
"Tell him to speak with Jungkook first before coming to see me. Thank you so much." Taehyung said so and turned to leave, but three black suit guys stood in his path, one of whom was holding his left arm.
"Attorney, Prime Minister Bo would not be pleased by no; you have no other choice." The man in the black suit said this while smirking devilishly.
"If you don't want Kookie to kill you, don't even touch me!" Taehyung said sternly, attempting to force the man's hand away, but the man strengthened his grip.
"Attorney, J—" When they heard someone talking, the suit guy's sentence came to an end.
"Don't you understand what he's saying? Don't come near him!" Jungkook made a fist of his hands.
"Don't worry, Mr. Jeon; we'll get him back to you alive." He smirked when he said it.
"You don't get it, do you? If you don't back off, my fist will land on your faces." Jungkook said with his body raging with anger.
When he saw Taehyung staring at him with teary and frightened eyes, his anger burst. They abruptly let go of Taehyung, who exhaled a breath of relief.
"I'm hoping you'll reconsider. Next time, you are going to compel attorney." He bowed and said something.
Taehyung walks closely yet scared to Jungkook and stands behind him, not wanting to let them know that they managed to scare him. Jungkook approached the man and punched him in the face. The three men in black suits rushed to protect the man.
