Chapter 21: Past 3/3

The first time when Taehyung failed in his plan 

The day when Taehyung tried out the plans similar to Narin's case but this day, it was his first time and he was trying to solve the Eunyeok case. The day when Jungkook got mad at Taehyung for hiding his plans and almost killed Jimin and Bogum. 

Jimin and Taehyung were inside the van of Bogum, they were waiting for the perfect time to get inside the building which was kind of scary because of its shape and structure. 

"Taehyung, make sure to always connect me with this walkie-talkie so I could make sure you are safe, understood?" Bogum inquired, he was in the driver's seat. 

"Sure, hyung." Taehyung responds as he took the walkie-talkie. 

They saw more guys coming out of the building; Eunyeok's case was about murder, Eunyeok got murdered because of the gangster yet no one witnessed the scene. Eunyeok was a college student, the gangster made fun of him by beating him. Eunyeok tried to free himself but he got shot when he tried to run away.

The gangster snatched Eunyeok's money and left him naked in the middle of the road. Now, Taehyung's only key to solve the case was to find the evidence in the gangster's hideout, he had to hurry or else the gangsters will ruin the evidence. But the evidence, like CCTV footage, was inside the gangster's hideout. So, Taehyung needs to sacrifice his life just to get the evidence.

"Taehyung, they are going to their dinner, be ready and fast to get the evidence." Bogum said while looking at the screen in front of him which was showing the CCTV he hacked near and inside to the gangster area. 

"Okay, hyung." Taehyung replied. 

Jimin and Taehyung went out of the van, they roamed their eyes just to make sure no one was outside. They also wore their earpiece to stay connected to each other. They carefully went inside and made sure not to make a sound or leave any evidence. 

"Hyung, you take the right way and I'll take this way." Taehyung said in a hushed tone. 

"Okay." Jimin respond. 

They separated their ways, Taehyung took the left side since there are two ways inside. He was searching with his eyes when he saw two lockers on both left and right side, he took the hairpin from his hair and opened the lockers one by one to check out the other evidence.

He kept on checking each locker. Bogum was nervously waiting for them while munching his junk food. His eyes widened when he saw one member of the gang coming inside, he hurriedly took the walkie-talkie.

"Jimin, Taehyung, mission abort, mission abort, come back here, someone is coming in! Both of you need to leave now!" Bogum warned through the walkie-talkie.

 Jimin and Taehyung eyes widened, Taehyung luckily found two files he needed and Eunyeok's bag with USB beside it. 

"Jimin, hide! Another one is coming! You are safe if you hide behind the stairs! If he went upstairs, you can run away!" Bogum said in rushed. Jimin hurriedly hides behind the stairs when he heard footsteps coming.

Bogum eyes widened, he saw the first guy looking at Taehyung. 

"Shit, this is not good, what should I do?" Bogum uttered. 

"You shouldn't come here, attorney. This is our territory." He said and smirked. 

"You are going to pay for what you've done!" Taehyung said and kicked him on his groin. Taehyung started running but the second guy came and smirked.
