Chapter 5: Court

Taehyung is now in court, he fully prepared for everything. He was positive that he'll win the case. Media, reporters, judges, and prosecutors are already inside waiting for the judge to start the case.

(Ahm, sorry in advance, I'm not good when it comes to court. I don't know some of what happening inside the courtroom)

"We may now start the case" The judge started.

Silence filled the whole room to listen to them.

"Good afternoon, Your honour, My name is Jung Hoseok.  This case is about Republic Act 8353, rape and Republic Act 7910, child abuse. On the afternoon, November 29, 2020, our client Kim Harin was at her University which is Seoul University, she walking alone way back to her house. Her boyfriend, Lee Jang Wook, came to her and told to her to come with him. At first, she declined his invitation but Lee Jang Wook forces her and threatened her that he will kill her family, At 7:43 PM, Lee Jang Wook brought her forcefully to his house. He forced her to drink any alcohol, forcing her to dance naked in front of him, beating her up and the rape happened." Hoseok stated while standing in the middle of the court.

"But the suspect was denying all the allegation on him and he was proving that he was innocent." Hoseok added.

The judge nodded his head while writing down the notes. The case started, Taehyung listening to Attorney Park Jin-ho defending his client.

"Kim Harin, you know to yourself that you love your boyfriend a lot. You also hide your relationship with your parents because you are scared that they will do anything to break up with you. Right, Ms. Harin?" Jin-ho stated as he inquired her.

Kim Harin just became silent, she shaking in fear, her anxiety attacking her. She doesn't like a lot of attention and stares at her. She bit her bottom lip, nibbling her finger and her legs shaking due to stress.

"Answer my question, Ms. Harin." Jin-ho exclaimed tapping the desk.

Harin almost cries in front of people watching them. Taehyung understands something was wrong with her.

"You acted innocent but your classmates knew that your a whore or let say 'slut',  right, Ms. Kim? Answer my question to you!" Jin-ho exclaimed once again trying to dominate her so she won't able to speak.

"Objection your honour,  We don't allow an attorney to tell unpleasant words towards to victim. My client doesn't want to answer his question, it's her right not to answer whatever he ask." Taehyung defended his client as he stood up.

Judge Byun agreed while Jin-ho glared at Taehyung but Taehyung simply smirked.

"Proceed to another question." Judge Byun agreed, causing Jin-ho to soughed.

Taehyung snickered and sat back in his seat. The trial heated, Jin-ho doesn't want to lose on Taehyung, he wants Taehyung's image to get ruins since he can't ruin Jungkook's image.

"It's your turn, Attorney Jeon." Judge Byun announced.

Taehyung stood in the middle, settling down the pieces of evidence.

"Kim Harin got raped, she didn't like it at all, it's obvious that it was rape because she was forced to do something that she doesn't want to. Lee Jang Wook, a Senior high school spoiled brat boy who was addicted to alcohol and also he was spotted in a club with a girl on his lap, making out with her." Taehyung started immediately.
