𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐎𝐃𝐃 𝐆𝐑𝐎𝐔𝐏 𝐒𝐀𝐓 𝐈𝐍 silence the whole ride to Hogwarts, Luna making the occasional odd comment.

Cassiopeia's brain was racked with thoughts, yet she had no idea what to do, it was all overwhelming.

Although she seemed to be use to being overwhelmed, over the last 2 years her life seemed to drastically change, and she wished she could go back to the summer after her 2nd year, when she was a pile of oblivious bliss.

Before Sirius had escaped Azkaban, before she found out Remus was a werewolf, before she was a banshee and had to deal with the overpowering feelings, before everyone knew what she was and the ministry wanted her dead, and before she found out Voldemort wanted her.

She was never good at expressing her feeling and thoughts, she was more of a silent thinker, a silent feeler.

She pushed her problems to the back of her mind and hoped they left by themselves.

Before it was little problems, how to control her metamorphagus powers, what house she was going to be in, or even how to deal with her last name, each problem she faced seemed minuscule in scale.

But she still did it, pushed back her problems.

Her problems that were now life and death, yet she wouldn't face them, she was, in all honesty, scared.

Cassiopeia Black was never known as a scared person, she was never a person who feared things.

Everyone knew her to be strong, confident, fearless. She was a Black, and she lived up to the name.

But now she was scared, scared of death, of the inevitable, and scared of what her future would be, no matter how short she knew it would be.

Doing what she always did, she pushed back her new problems. So walking into the great hall, she forgot about the conversation on the train, pushed back the problem of her friends being on Voldemort's side.

Cassiopeia walked towards the Slytherin table, heads turning to look at her as she passed, the students of Hogwarts seeing her for the first time since they found out about her being a banshee.
