"𝗔𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗼𝗸𝗮𝘆?"

𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐋𝐔𝐌𝐈𝐍𝐀𝐓𝐄𝐃 𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐑𝐒 𝐖𝐄𝐑𝐄 scattered like moondust around the suffocating blanket of darkness. Each star had their own story, Cassiopeia saw this in each of them. So similar, yet so different in their ways.

She stood staring at the sky, pulling her jacket tight around her, feeling content. As she felt the shimmer of the moonlight on her skin she breathed in the air, then reached into her pocket to pull out a cigarette.

She lit it and placed it on her lips, watching the cloud of grey cover the air.

Hearing muffled voices behind her, she turned to see Harry and her father helping Ron, and Hermione trailing behind. She smiled slightly as she saw Harry laugh at something Sirius said before turning back to the sky and taking a breath of the cigarette.

"Nice jacket." A voice laughed from behind her, making her jump slightly in surprise. She turning to see her father walking to stand next to her. "Hm, I don't really like it." She hummed, "Only wearing it because I had nothing else."

Seeing the sadness in her fathers face she laughed, "I'm joking, I like it, you have great taste."

"Your mother brought me that." He replied, a hint of pain in his voice.

"Well, she had great taste then."

It was silent for a moment before Cassiopeia spoke up again, "Your the black dog, aren't you?"

"Correct." He answered, smiling at Cassiopeia, "An animagus."

"Well, Mr animagus, you owe me a packet of cigarettes." She joked, taking another breath of grey. "You shouldn't smoke, it's not good for you."

"I know." She sighed, putting out the cigarette and throwing it on the floor, "Ta Da!"

Sirius laughed at her dramatic behaviour before asking, "Where did you go?" Earning a confused glance from Cassiopeia, "When I was imprisoned."

"Oh, Andromeda and Ted's." She replied, "Why?"

"Well," Sirius awkwardly replied, "How would you feel about coming to stay with me, after I'm cleared? You don't have to I would understand if-"

He was cut of when Cassiopeia threw herself at him, wrapping her arms around him. He stood for a moment, trying to realise what was happening, before he hugged her back tightly.

Once they pulled away he asked, "Is that a yes?"

"No." She deadpanned, but started laughing as soon as she said it, "Course it's a yes. I'm going to have to talk to aunt Andy and uncle Ted, but I'm sure they won't mind, but I want to visit them."

"Of course you can visit them Cassiopeia." He laughed, "And maybe Harry could stay with us too."

"Yeah." Cassiopeia replied, "Speak of the devil."

"Hey guys." Said Harry, walking up to the two. "I'll leave you two." Cassiopeia said as she walked of, a wide grin on her face.

She walked up to Remus and stood next to him, sighing in content. She opened her mouth, to speak to him, before closing it as she realised there was something wrong.

"Professor lupin?" She asked, turning to face him, "Are you okay?"

"Cass," Hermione whispered, taking a step back, "Look." Cass looked to where Hermione was pointing, to see the moon.

She looked back to Professor Lupin, to see him transforming. "Professor Lupin." She whispered, stepping forward and holding out her hands.

"HARRY!" Hermione shouted, causing Sirius and Harry to turn around snd see Cassiopeia standing in front of, a now, fully transformed werewolf.

"Cassiopeia, walk back slowly." Sirius instructed. Cassiopeia gulped and followed what he said but ended up stepping on a branch on the floor, causing the werewolf to turn its head to her. "Shit." She mumbled, eying the creature.

That when it happened.

If you would have blinked you would have missed it.

You would have missed the werewolf raise it claws and send two slashes Cassiopeia's way. One slicing her face, the other her neck.

At the sudden impact of the claws she fell back, hitting her head and a rock and blacking out.
