(A/N: This is my first request, I'm so freaking excited. I'm sorry for taking this long to post it but school sucks and I had the worst writer's block know to man kind. Also, I added some other characters in the list of the ones I'll write for. And I know it wasn't part of the request but I just had to do it inspired by the song 'A Whole New World')

Hope this was close to what you were looking for @sweetnermulti and I'm sorry for making you wait for almost two months (or more)!

warnings: my writing (as always), mutual pinning, antisocial Edmund.

The sun could be seen setting beautifully in the west. The thread of pinkish light that passed ever so gently through the glass of the princess' chamber, waltzed delicately in the room.

Princess of Y/N of the Archenland was lying in her bed staring at the ceiling, completely lost in dreams and expectations about the ball that was about to happen. A ball in which she was supposed to find her future husband.

Her hair was tied meticulously in a classic bun, her golden gown, sprawled on the bed she was laying and her hands were resting on top of her stomach. She had to admit, she loved balls. Dancing all night long in ethereal gowns was really something that made her feel alive. But she wasn't as excited for this one in particular. This was her last chance to find a suitor or her parents would arrange it themselves.

Her thoughts were soon interrupted by a gentle, polite knock at her door. The door opened slowly, the sound of the voice of her maid, Molly, followed close behind.

"Your highness, your Majesty is requesting for you at the Main Ballroom. The ball has just begun and the guests are waiting." she said politely.

"Thank you, Molly. I'm on my way." she smiled gratefully, brushing her thoughts away.

The walk to the Ballroom almost felt like forever. She stopped by the stairs and took a deep breath. When she stepped in the stair, the whole ballroom looked at her. Every ball, everyday, every time was like this, everybody looking at her, throwing judging or respectable glances at her. And that was something she would never be used to.

She quietly approached her parents, who were already looking at her, and the four other people that were with them. She concluded that they were siblings. There was a dirty blond, tall, blue eyed boy who looked some years older than her. By his side there were two girls. One of them was short—she was definitely the youngest of them—with beautiful caramel colored hair and hazel colored eyes. The other girl was taller than the one before, she had a long ebony colored hair and big, agate blue colored eyes. And beside them there was another boy, he seemed to be not so interested in the previous conversation as the others. He was tall—therefore he didn't look much older than her—his hair was just like his sister's, dark ebony, tiny but apparent freckles and dark hypnotizing eyes.

"Oh, Y/N, here you are. What took you so long?" said the king, who was with his wife's arm carefully around his, looking sweetly at his daughter.

"Just thinking, Papa. That's all."

"Honey," started her mother, leaving her father's side, walking to her and putting her hand on her cheek affectionately, "you look absolutely divine!"

"Thank you, Mama." she answered

"Oh, how rude of me!" sighned the queen, "Y/N, these are the Kings and Queens of Narnia." she presented them.

"Peter, the magnificent. A pleasure to meet you." he smiled and gently kissed her knuckles.

"The pleasure is all mine."

"I'm Lucy, the valiant," she said politely, "but you don't need to remember this." she added rapidly making the princess giggle at the girl's antics, "I'm not really fond of shaking hands. Would you mind if I hugged you?"
