The sky.

Blue, grey, and everything in-between.

I loved it.

I laid in a grassy field, staring up at it.

The grass blew in the gentle breeze around me, but it wasn't cold.

It was perfect.

Everything was perfect.

I was wearing my favorite outfit, leggings and this oversized soft grey sweater I had.

My hair was spread out around my head in the grass, and I felt a smile on my face.

I heard someone's voice.

There was someone next to me, how had I not noticed?

"Look there." A hand pointed. "It's a horse. See the legs and the head?"

I nodded. "Yeah. I see it."

I looked over to see who I was having suck a great time with. I had no idea, I didn't really have friends I hung out with on a daily basis or that made me this happy.

It was a boy.

He had dark hair like mine, and it was swept upwards on his head.

He had soft facial features but a jawline that could kill.

He looked at me.

"What is it?" He asked.

"It's.. Its nothing." I said quietly, looking back up.

I didn't know his name, that's what it was. I didn't know him at all. I had no clue who he might be.

He looked back up at the sky as well.

"Look, that's ones a fish." He pointed.

We were pointing at clouds and showing each other what they looked like. He was good.

"Look," I said, pointing at a small cloud away from the others. "It's a turtle."

It did look like a turtle, it had the legs and a nice round shell.

He laughed a little.

"Yeah it is."

This went on for a long time, until we ran out of new clouds.

He looked at me. I looked at him.

"Kamryn," he began. "You're beautiful. I've never met anyone that made me feel like this before. You make me feel more at home in a field than in my house without you."

I felt a blush creep onto my face.

"I feel the same about you." I said, feeling incredibly dorky. "I really like you."

He smiled a little, looking back up at the sky.

He brought one arm up and put it behind his head so he was resting on it, and with the other he grabbed my hand.

He held my hand gently, and I felt something I'd never felt before.

This was amazing.

Nothing could make this better.

I felt like a ball of sunshine, and I must have been glowing just as bright.

"Kamryn?" He said quietly, not looking at me.

"Yeah?" I said, turning my head to look at him.

He turned his head to see me, and he stared into my eyes for a few seconds.

He had the prettiest dark blue eyes is ever seen. They were as deep as the ocean, and I dove in.

"I think I love you."
