Hello! Not sure if there's a story like this already written (in which case there is, I'm sure the writing is immaculate and the author did a fab job) but inspiration struck and I thought why not?

The plan is to start of with his first year - working our way through until he leaves Hogwarts and possibly a little after too. Obviously, seven years is a lot of writing and I can assume it's going to be very time consuming, in that case we are willing to stay as dedicated as possible. A similar format has been written with the marauders - all the young dudes - if you haven't read it I highly recommend you to as it's amazing.

Our depiction of Tom's character may be different to other authors. Some of you reading may think that our version of him is inaccurate or just dislike him, which is okay. We will happily take constructive criticism if we feel it's truly going to help.

It will be written in his POV (occasionally switching between characters when necessary) and we will try our hardest to keep the timeline accurate. If we happen to miss anything or write something false, obviously we are not JK ROWLING and these characters do not belong to us in a anyway - except for the characters that are obviously ours. With us not being the creators of the Harry Potter franchise, we don't know everything about his back story as it isn't completely explained in detail - so a lot of this is going to be our own storylines mixed in with what really happened and assumptions we make from his character.

We also wanted to clarify, that although this is mostly canon based, a lot of the plots and storylines, and characters were created by us, ie. Belle, Topanga, Nancy and others. We take full owner ship of these characters as they do belong to us.

If your tired of my waffling yet, I apologise and hope I haven't put you off reading. If you decide to read on, thanks a million and we can't wait for you to continue.

This is quick - I just want to clarify that Tom's first few years aren't going to be insanely mad or psychotic by any means, after all he is still a child. We want to portray him as a human who still has feelings and at least some emotions and reasons that in his mind - are justifiable for his actions. As he gets older there will be themes of violence and possibly a lot of other triggering things which we will be sure to remind you of when we actually get to writing that part in the story.

If we ever miss anything or are insensitive or offend ANYONE, please let us know and we can be sure to fix any of it as that is 100% not our intention.

We are not authors. Not everything is going to be perfect and we have our own lives and things to stress over. So please, be kind if there's ever a problem or even if you don't happen to like what we are writing, do be considerate.

Also concerning fan casts, Tom is the same three actors from the movies, this might get confusing but I would imagine 1-3 year as Hero Fiennes Tiffin, 4-5 as Frank Dillane, and the remaining years as the one and only Christian Coulson the legend<3 Our fan cast for Belle is Florence Pugh (I mean cmon, she's also a legend) and for the first half of the fic, I'd say imagine her younger, but you can imagine her however you like, this is just our personal preference!
