Little Things:A Harry Styles Love Story

Chapter 9:

I woke up the next morning still smiling from the memory of last night.Once I got up and did the usual,I got on my laptop.The first thing I did was check my twitter.Nothing new was happening,but before I logged out,I decided to post something for Niall:

Only a few seconds later,I saw that he had replied to its.

I laughed at Niall's weirdness and exited out of the page.I had a text message Harry saying he was coming over.I went to my closet and just grabbed a random shirt and a pair of jeans.I threw on my hoodie and put on my converse.I got another text from Harry saying he was here so I rushed down the staircase before he could get to the door.He hadn't got out of the car yet,so I jumped in.

"Hello Luv"

"Hey Harry"

"I thought I was coming over here to see you?"

"Yeah but can we please go somewhere else?"I asked almost pleading.

"Why?"

"My parents are back"I could feel my face drop as the words came out.He nodded and started driving.We ended up at the park.It was almost the end of fall and all the leaves had fallen.The sight of the park was so beautiful this time of year.Me and Harry sat on the bench and started talking.It was just a casual conversation but then he asked me about it.

"So why are you still living with your parents?"

"I haven't been living with them that long.I did live with my grand mum,but she became really ill a while ago.That's why I had to move in with them.

"Oh is she ok?"He questioned with a look of worry in his eyes.

"I don't know.She doesn't have a phone and my parents don't give a fuck.So I don't even know if she's still alive."I now had a tear falling down my cheek.

"Where does she live?"Harry asked catching me off guard.

"North field ,why?"

"That's not to far from here.I can drive you there to check on her"

"Really"I asked full of excitement.He nodded his head.

"Of course,I wouldn't want my girl to be upset."

We got up from the bench and headed to Northfield.When we got there I was a little upset to see that there were still no cars in sight.She had four kids and all of them were to busy with their dugs and partying to come help their own mother.When I stepped inside I felt the smell of my grandmum's special tea fill the room.I smiled knowing she must be feeling better.I made my way to her bedroom while I heard Harry close behind.I knocked on her door before opening it,revealing a still slithery crippled old woman laying in her bed.She had a huge smile on her face when she saw me walk in,as did I.I trotted over to her giving her a enormous hug.

"I missed you so much mum"I still had a huge grin on my face.I really had missed her.She asked me how I managed to get here.I told her that Harry had brought me.She looked up in his direction and grinned even wider.

"And who is this young man?"she asked looking in Harry's direction.As I started to speak,Harry had already walked up to her and was introducing himself as my boyfriend.We stayed for about three hours when we decided to go.Harry had made a pretty good first impression.When we got in the car I was crying again.But this time they from happiness.My grandmother was okay and I had the sweetest boyfriend a girl could ask for.But all of that Changed real quick.Harry had dropped me off and I walked in still feeling like I was on top of the world.One foot in the door and all I heard was a loud popping noise.I was on the floor with my cheek stinging and my jaw gushing blood.

"WHERE WERE YOU?"My father screamed in my face,his breath lingering with alcohol.I didn't answer.I couldn't;my mouth was in too much pain.It didn't matter anyway,any answer would result in more pain.They eventually were bored with me;they simply walked out the door like nothing happened.I had gotten enough strength to get back up and go to my room.I couldn't take it anymore.I had always planned to get my own flat as soon as possible if my parents ever got me back.I had been saving my money for Uni for a long time,but I figured I could use it now.

A FEW WEEKS LATER

I walked my exhausted body up the steps.Finally,all my bags were inside.I went to sit down and rest but it was already 5:15.So I got back up and got ready for work.I had got a job at The Corner.It was a music store in town.I figured if I had to add a job to my schedule,it might as well be something I enjoyed.

Harry's P.O.V.

I was sitting at the park waiting on Alice.I hadn't seen her in two weeks,and I had no idea where she was.Obviously,I had gotten a little worried.I went to her house to check on her but her parents said she had moved out.She finally answered one of my text yesterday and said she would meet me here,but she still hadn't.Then an idea hit me.I called Eleanor and asked if she knew where Alice had moved.She told me the address and warned me that she didn't get off until midnight.I went to her house at about 12:30.I knew where the spare key was was,so I went ahead and went inside.

Alice's P.O.V.

I had just got home a few minutes ago.I was so tired.I hadn't slept in the last two weeks.A wave of shock went through me when I heard someone come in the front door.I was too tired to move though.I heard my bedroom door open and I knew who it was from the smell of his cologne.I felt him lay down next to me and wrap me up in his arms.As soon as he out his warm arms around me I fell into a deep slumber.

P.O.V.

I woke up to the sunlight blinding me.I noticed Harry wasn't laying next to me.I walked into the living room and smelt pancakes.

"Good morning beautiful"Harry said as he heard me enter the kitchen.

"Good morning Harry"I said sitting down at the wooden island.

"No,come here"Harry whined motioning for me to come over to him.I walked over to the stove,placing one hand on the counter and my other arm around Harry's neck,facing him.He smiled at me and continued cooking.

"What are you doing here?"

"We'll I haven't seen you in awhile and I wanted to spend time with you"

"I would love to Harry but I can't?"

"Why?"

"Because I need some sleep"

"How bout this?We just stay in and hang out here so you don't have to waste your energy and we can still be together"

"Alright,fine"

I hated that he always defeated me.But I guess that was just what he does.

"Harry,one thing though."

"What is it luv?"

"Why are you so sweet?"

"I don't know.Why are you so amazing?"I giggled at his response as we sat down at the table to eat our pancakes.Later,we sat down and started watching tv.Im pretty sure it didn't last five minutes before I fell asleep.

I woke up basically in Harry's lap.He looked down at me and kissed my forehead as I sat up next to him.

"Your awake"he said stating the obvious.I looked out the window and noticed the sun was beginning to go down.

"What time is it?"I asked worried I was going to be late.

"Relax,it's only 4:30"

"Shit,I've got to get ready!"

"Oh no you don't"He stated pulling me back onto his lap.

"And why don't I?"

"Because I can tell your still tired so your not going in tonight,I won't let you"He started giving me a fake puppy dog face making me laugh.And once again convincing me to do what he wanted.
