It's a well-known cliché that time flies when there is fun to be had and love to share and a familiar young couple provide no exceptions to this rule. Starting their journey together, fresh faced and eager to share in each-others company, a floppy haired thatcher and a fiery, red-headed dancer became the most unlikely of friends in such a short time. Through hours spent together, the pair found a deeper connection as they faced tears, stress, short-tempers as well as hours of belly-laughs, inside jokes and forbidden touches...touches which grew from innocent cuddles, to hand-holding and emotional support, reaching a climax in the hours following the dramatic final of the UK's favourite dance show- Strictly come dancing.

Following a two week separation during Christmas 2018, the young couple became inseparable, falling more and more in love with each other. As winter turned to summer and summer to back to winter, the dancer became a youtube star, the youtube star became a westend star: These two lovebirds travelled Paris, Malaga, Mykonos, Australia and of course, the UK in their beloved chippy, all the while building the foundations of an unbreakable relationship.

Fast-forward to March 2020, just weeks before The Joe and Dianne Show had been set to hit the road- the world as it was known descended into chaos as a result of Coronavirus 19, throwing the UK into a nation-wide lockdown. With the spread and risk of this virus continually multiplying, the world became a bleak place; schools closed, shops closed, pubs closed, only go out once a day for exercising-many people found themselves struggling like never before. Not unlike everyone else, the couple in question found the extra times nearly impossible to fill. An abundance of energy and the unknowing ability to raise the spirits of thousands of people-lockdown dance classes, daily workouts, humorous vlogs and late night twitch streams became a popular form of escapism for not only fans but for the creators alike.

Throughout lockdowns 1,2 and 3 many couples may have found themselves feeling trapped in each others' company but not these two; these two have only grown from strength to strength, revelling in shared moments as well as those sacred moments apart. Not only did the red head and her partner achieve multiple personal goals, varying from recording podcasts to landing tv roles, they also found time to plan and purchase a place of their own- a place to create their own memories with room for their little family to grow...which leads us nicely to the current scenario...

Fiddling with the intricate table setting he had lovingly designed, Joe sighed audibly before snatching his hands back to his pockets, wrapping his fingers wrong the object that was currently bringing him so much stress. Tearing himself from the table, the once floppy haired Wiltshire lad dragged his weathered hands through his perfectly styled quiff, glancing at the door before dashing across the open plan dining room to check the oven one last time. In his haste to check the meal he had spent all day preparing, the breeze he had created had extinguished the candles he had strategically place on their dining table;

"Fuck... where's the lighter gone now?! Christ sake Joseph, get it together or she will..."

"She will what Joey...What will I do? This is absolutely gorg darl! I can't believe you've gone to all this effort for dinner tonight, is it a special occasion? Have I forgotten something? Shit, I bet I have..."

Smiling gently at his fretting love, Joe found himself instantly relaxing in her presence, despite his panic less than 30 seconds before- a trait Dianne had always unknowingly possessed, even from their very early strictly days. Lighting the final candle, the secret romantic stood up straighter, reaching carefully to his left in order to pull his girlfriend to his chest, placing a kiss on his favourite spot- along her hairline.

" Stop stressing Dotty, you've not forgotten anything really. It's five years since the strictly final! Can you believe it?! Feels like a lifetime ago!" Joe mused, detangling himself from Dianne's grip and pulling a seat out for her, always the gentleman, before turning his attention back to the kitchen.
