Jungkook's mistake

Jungkook got up while Wang Eun's attention was at Hee Ku and grabbed one metal pipe that was on the floor. He hitted bastard's head so hard that Wang Eun fell on top of Hee Ku. He got the opportunity to take the gun off his hands. He was the one who made Yoon Ji break up with him. He was the one who raped his girl. He was the one who killed her. Jungkook's anger got the best of him. He shot Wang Eun on the head.

For one moment, Jungkook sensed the void left in his soul. Killing this bastard won't bring Yoon Ji's smile, her silky hair or her silly jokes. 

"Put that gun down, Jungkook-ssi" - Su Goh pointed his gun at him. Jungkook's gun was aiming for Hee Ku and he was surrounded by cops. Jungkook didn't realize that they entered the room and did it as comanded. One of the officers took off his gun.

"Take both of them to the hospital"

Hee Ku woke up at the hospital bed. She passed out after Wang Eun's body fell on top of hers. She couldn't move her left arm without feeling pain. 

I guess it will be another nasty scar.

She touched her new grotesque scar. All she could remember was the day her mother died. She couldn't smell flowers without inhaling blood. That's why she decided to sell the old shop and keep only the apartment. Her dad asked many times if she would rather move to his house before he passed away. Her answer was always no. She felt that moving to elsewhere would give Wang Eun more power to control her life.

And now, he is dead.

"Hee Ku-ssi! I'm glad to see you ok" - said Namjoon after BTS entered in the room.

"Thank you. How is Jungkook? Is he ok?"

The look on the members' faces told her everything.

"Where is he?"

"On the rooftop"

Jungkook was sitting on a wood bench, covering his wounds with his jacket. 

"Jungkook-ssi" - he heard Hee Ku's voice.

"Don't come closer. Please" - his voice was trembling.

"I don't blame you"

"So, they have told you..."

"Jungkook-ssi" - she walked towards him - "I've lost many things because of Wang Eun and I've lived seven years having nightmares that he would come to me again. I would have done something similar as well"

"But, in the end, I was aiming at you" - he buried his head between his hands.

"I have a part of the blame of what happened to Yoon Ji. If I didn't tell her about my nightmare..."

"What do you mean?"

"One month before my birthday, I had a dream that Wang Eun was stalking me. But, unlike the others, it felt so real that I could feel his stare as I walked around the town. I've told Yoon Ji about it and she said she would talk to some acquaintances just in case. And, looking back, I think that's what she hided from me"

"You could have told your dad. I've heard from Su Goh that he is a lawyer"

"He passed away about five years go in a car accident. Su Goh has taken care of the law firm since then. You see, that bastard killed my mom and my best friend"

"That's why you work and study, right?"

"Yes. I'm alone. But look, Jungkook, I do not blame you"

"Even so, you helped me out with the trial. And that alone is a good motive to be thankful to you. I'm sorry Hee Ku. Whenever you need, I'll be at your side"

"Thank you"

"Hee Ku-ssi, I have a proposal to you...."

Jungkook arranged his tie and smoking. It's about time. He looked in the mirror and saw Yoon Ji's image. He wasn't sure if what he was doing was the best option, but it was what he felt right to choose. He wouldn't forget his beloved one and this was the closest to happiness he could get. It's now have been five years since she passed away....

"Kookie, it's time!" - called Suga - "The bride is waiting"
