Hyejoo passed by the pizzeria but didn't see any of her friends.

"Damn it." She muttered. She missed the celebration.

Once she got home, she walked in and found Hyunjin on the couch doing homework but Yerim wasn't in sight.

"Hey, where's Yerim?"

"Where were you?" Hyunjin asks instead of answering the question.

"Uh, I was kinda stuck at Chaewon's house."

"Of course, Chaewon." Hyunjin said, rolling her eyes and closing her book.

Hyejoo furrowed her brows and walked over to stand in front of her sister before she could get away. "It wasn't Chae's fault. It's not a big deal, you guys just got pizza."

"Not a big deal?" Hyunjin stood up to match their heights.

"Why are you in such a mood? Are you mad Heejin didn't go? She was at Chae's too."

Hyunjin abruptly shoved Hyejoo almost making her fall, but Hyejoo grabbed Hyunjin's arm preventing it.

"What the hell! What's wrong with you?"

"You ditched us," Hyejoo slowly let go of her sister, "and to be honest I don't care but Yerim, she thinks you're replacing her thanks Yeojin."

"What?"

"Yeojin and them were talking about how you spend more time with Chaewon and her friends than your own sisters. And yeah that's not technically true we spend time together but not like before. Yerim thinks you're replacing her as your best friend."

"Where is she?" Hyejoo asked, walking towards the stairs.

"Let her be alone for a while." Hyunjin yelled, watching Hyejoo disappear up the stairs.

Hyejoo frantically knocked on Yerim's room door until finally the door opened abruptly.

"What!" Yerim exclaimed.

Hyejoo was taken aback by her voice but quickly hugged her sister anyway. Yerim's hands hovered next to her sister's back, her eyes widened as well.

"What that little twerp said is wrong. I'd never replace you." Hyejoo's voice was muffled, but Yerim could still hear it.

Yerim finally hugged her sister back and giggled. "She's not a twerp and it's okay Oli, you can hang out with your new friends."

"But-"

"But nothing. You finally have the chance to be normal like you wanted. Go play basketball, be friends with whoever you want, date Chaewon if you want," Hyejoo shakes her head but smiles, "all I'm saying is we can finally find out who we are, and being together 24/7 won't help us. Growing up I've always wanted to be like mom or Hyunjin, but only cause I didn't know anyone else. Now I can find out what I really like and enjoy doing. Yeojin has this cute pet frog and this dog she's dogsitting for her cousin. I love taking care of those animals with her. I decided to apply to work at the animal shelter near the hospital."

Hyejoo unwraps her arms from her sister and stands up straight. "So you're not mad at me?"

Yerim smiles warmly at her and raises her hand and flicks Hyejoo's forehead. "I was mad but I'm over it. Now leave me alone. I'm about to have a study session with Jungeun."

"Jungeun? She's here?" Hyejoo asked, while Yerim was shoving her away and trying to close her door.

"Over video chat!" Yerim yelled at her now closed door.
