chapter 3

TW: panick attack, eating disorder, bullying, bruises and scars, cussing?

Tommy's POV

I woke up and looked outside the window. It looked rather dark for 5am so I checked my alarm clock to see if it's actually 5am and it wasn't, it was apparently 3am. I didn't really know why I woke up at 3am but I let it slide for today, I went to the bathroom quietly trying to make sure nobody would wake up. I slowly opened the door turning on the water but then I heard something from behind me.

"Tommy, why are you awake?" said Techno.

"I uh I-" I said trying to find the right words.

"Do you have trouble sleeping?" he asked me.

"Uh no, I usually wake up at 5am but I don't know why I woke up 2 hours early." I said, answering his question.

"Why aren't you asleep?" I questioned Techno.

"I don't usually sleep at night." he said.

'Oh.' I said in my mind.

I started breathing heavily for no reason, my eyesight was beginning to get blurry. I was scared and confused. Was I having a panic attack?

"Hey Tommy you good?" he asked.

I couldn't answer him, no matter how hard I tried. He then brung me back to my room and sat on my bed trying to calm me down.

"Okay, Tommy listen to me, can you name something pink?" he said trying to calm me down.

"U-Um, your hair." I said.

"Okay perfect, something white." he said with a soft and calm tone.

"Your s-shirt." I answered.

"Mhm, now something red." He said.

"M-my shirt." I responded.

"Okay now let's count to 10 together." he said in a calmer tone than usual.

"Okay.." I said.

* Some time passed.. *

My eyesight started coming back and I could breathe normally now.

"Sorry about that Techno.." I apologised.

"Stop saying sorry for stuff you know you can't control." he told me.

He then started patting my head and playing with my hair to calm me down. Shortly after that we both fell asleep.

Technos POV

I woke up to the sound of a vacuum coming from downstairs, I tried to get up but I felt a weight on my shoulder, I had realised tommy fell asleep on my shoulder. I laid him down nicely so he wouldn't wake up. I then decided to go downstairs. I saw Phil vacuuming and I greeted him.

"Good morning Phil!" I said.

"Oh, good morning Techno, can you wake Wilbur up for me?" he asked.

"Of course." I answered him with a smile on my face.

I went back upstairs into Wilbur's room and when I tried to wake him up he let out a big scream that might have woken up Tommy and made Phil worried.

"IS EVERYTHING ALRIGHT IN THERE?" he asked.

"YEAH EVERYTHING'S FINE I JUST SCARED WILL."

The house became awkwardly silent. I was afraid that Will might've woke up Tommy, this was the most sleep Tommy has gotten in this house before.

Tommy's POV

I woke up to the sound of Wilbur screaming, I heard Techno say he just scared him so that made me less worried. I tried to go back to sleep but couldn't. I heard my door opening, afraid I tried to fake sleep. That was probably the worst idea ever.

"Tommy, I know you are awake." said Techno frowning at me.

I was worried and couldn't help but look at him with a scared look on my face.

"Tommy, were not gonna hurt you, how many times do I have to tell you this."

He came closer and closer to me. Once he got very close, I flinched. That made him look worried and he started patting me on the back saying it's alright.

"I'm sorry.." I said or the verge of tears.

"Hey, don't worry, I only said that for you to wake up because Wilbur's scream was pretty loud and I was sure it woke you up."

"Also today is your first day of school, I'll be waiting for you outside because it isn't a long school day, you just need to meet with your teacher."

I nodded and he left my room, letting me to get ready.

I put on a red oversized sweater and some comfy pants. I waited outside of my room for Techno and we left. He drove me to the school and it was a pretty big place.

"Here we are." said Techno

"I'll be waiting for you outside the entrance is on the left."

I went inside the school and the teacher was waiting for me. We sat and talked a bit and after that she let me go back to Techno. I saw some kids that were blocking the entrance. They were coming closer to me. One of them said:

"Oi, punk, where do you think you're going?"

"I uh need to go, I just needed to meet with my teacher." I said.

"Well I'm not letting you go thru." he said.

"What, why?" I said, with a clearly worried look on my face.

"I see some money in your pocket, give me that."

I looked down at my pockets and saw that I had a bit of money inside them. I forgot to leave it home.

"Uh, why?" I said.

They came closer and closer to me until we hit a dead end, I was lost and scared. They grabbed the money out of my pocket and threw me to the ground. I could feel that I had a few bruises there and there. I felt the need to close my eyes, I kept trying to keep them open but couldn't, I was lost.

Techno's POV

'Where is he, he was supposed to be here like 10 minutes ago.'

I was worried and decided to enter the school, Tommy wasn't at the entrance, I started looking thru the whole school trying to find him with no luck. I realised i haven't checked in one corner of the school, I saw something or someone in the distance, I ran towards them and saw Tommy, he looked super beaten up and he had completely passed out. I swore if I found out who did this I would kill them.

"God, what happened to you.." I mumbled while picking him up and bringing him to the car.

I laid him down and drove home. When I arrived I saw Phil with a concerned look.

"What happened to him?.." he asked.

"I have no idea, I'll go upstairs and bandage his wounds." I said.
