Chapter 31 Mom

Tadashi's pov
We get on the scooter and y/n drives to the cafe.

"Why can't I drive?" I ask
"Your headache might get us killed." She says sarcastically
"It doesn't hurt that muc- Owwwwwww! Why does this helmet hurt me?" I complain
"Do you want to go in the back door? So every customers, Hiro, and Aunt Cassy don't laugh at your mustache." She says
"Oh ya, the back door." I say
"I am sorry about the kids. They usually don't behave like that." She says thinking at the same time.
"It's fine. But those kids are pretty good at making distractions." I say
"Well I'll talk to them later." She says pulling in behind the cafe.

We get out and take off our helmets. Then walk into the kitchen.

"Hi Tadashi." Hiro says as I turns to face him.
"Hi." I squeak out.
"Hahahahahahahahahahaha. Look at your face you finally got a mustache." Hiro says laughing.
"Shut up Hiro. Your just jealous of Tadashi's amazing mustache." Y/n says defending me.
"Okay okay, I will. But only for one thing." Hiro ask me
"What is it?" I ask
"Let me take a selfie." Hiro says as he pulls me over whips out his phone and takes a picture of me.
"Hiro!" I yell chasing him out the kitchen, upstairs, and to our bed room. With y/n at our heels.
"Okay I won't send it to anyone. I promise." Hiro assures me.
"You better not." I say

Then y/n and I spend hours just to scrub off the mustache. We always are getting giggly cause we're so close. Our face are only inches apart almost the whole time. When we're done I did what I wanted to do the whole time. I set her up on the bathroom counter lean over and give her a tender kiss on the lips. Then pull back and stare into her eyes.

"Do you want me to be there when you talk to your mom?" I ask
"Yes please. I need some one there to stand by my side." She says
"Okay then lets go."I say

Then we leave the cafe to find y/n mom's house.

We get down town and go door to door ask if anyone knew Betty Kane. We go to 15 different houses, a apartment building, and then 10 more houses. Till a lady answers then door to house number 11. The lady look remarkably like y/n.

Your pov
"What do you two need?" The lady says
"Does anyone live here called Betty Kane?" I ask
"Yes, that's me what you needed?" She ask
"Ummm..... well this is kinda odd but....... I am your daughter." I say sheepishly
"Oh my gosh I thought I would never see you again." The lady says
"So your my Mom?" I ask
"Yes I am." My Mom says
"Can we talk and catch up with each other?" I ask
"Ya, sure just come in you two. Is this one of your brothers, my how he has grown?" My mom ask
"No, this is my boyfriend, Tadashi. He's a inventor." I say
"Oh, wow, we got a lot to catch up on." My mom says

I tell her everything about me and my life. I tell her about how me and Tadashi meet, my apartment, and my job. She tells me everything that has happened to her since she gave me to my other family. She left to go find my real Dad. She never found him. So she decide to go find a job to get dome money to take me back. That's what she's been doing all the time.

"Wow." I say
"Whoa." My Mom says
"That's cool." Tadashi says
"Oh my look at the time. It's time for me to go to work. I better go." My Mom says
"Okay bye Mom. See you later." I say
"Hey Mrs.Kane you should stop at Lucky Cat Cafe later for dinner. Y/n coming over for dinner." Tadashi says
"I can pick you at 5:30 later." I say
"Okay I will be here." My Mom says

We say our good byes then we part our ways till dinner. My Mom goes to work. I go with Tadashi to start my first day of work at the cafe.
