Hiro's pov
I wake over to Callie. Then sit next to her. She looks up from her lap. With tears streaming down her face.
"What do you want?" She snaps at me.
"Nothing really. I just thought you need to vent to someone." I say looking at her.
"I don't need to talk to anyone." She says scooting away from me a little bit.
"Okay, fine I'll just sit here and wait." I say
"No you won't. You'll just leave." She says
"No I won't. I know how you feel. To lose someone and feel you have no one to talk to." I say
"Really?" She says
"Ya, I lost my parents." I say
"Who did you talk to?" She ask
"I'll tell you. You see that Easter Bunny." I say
"Ya?" She says
"He is the one I talked to. He's a robot. My brother made him." I say proudly
"Okay, I guess I can talk to you." She says turning to face me.
It's the first time I saw her without something blocking her face. I feel butterflies in my stomach.
"Okay just let every thing go." I say
"Okay. I just wish my Mom didn't have yo die. Plus it's a little unfair that y/n got a Mom." She says as she gazes over at y/n.
"I wish my parents hadn't die either. But I look at the bright side. I still have Tadashi and Aunt Cass. Plus I will soon have a sister in-law." I say
"Wait, is Tadashi and y/n engaged?" She ask
"Yes." I say then rub the back of my neck.
"That's nice to know. Nobody ever tells me anything!" She says
"It's okay, I felt the same way when I found out this morning. I always feel left out of things, and I'm a college student at age 14. Still nobody tells me anything." I say dramatically
"I guess no matter your rank in life, age is what determines what you can do,hear, and know." She says
"Ya, I guess so. But don't let that get to you." I say as I touch her hand slightly making her blush.
"I won't. We should get back to Tadashi and y/n." She says
"Okay." I say as I get up and brush the grass from my shorts. Then I grab her hand and pull her up.
"Thanks." She says brushing off her jeans.
"Don't mention it." I say starting to walk over to Tadashi.
"Wait, will you show me that helpful robot of yours?" She ask
"Sure." I say grabbing her hand. Then releasing it quickly." Sorry." I say quietly
"That's fine." She says with a smile. I hold her hand and lead her over to Bay-Max.
"Callie Bay-Max. Bay-Max Callie." I say
"Hiro is she hurt. I will scan her." Bay-Max says as he scans her.
"I'm not hurt. Is this how he greets every person he meets?" She ask sarcastically
"Actually yes." I say
"Scan complete. She is not injured or ill. But she is showing extreme levels of love towards you, Hiro." Bay-Max says as Callie turns away and blushes.
"I think the robot is broken." Callie says blushing profusely.
"Really?" I say
"Ya,since who could love that?" Callie says gesturing to all of me.
"Ow, that burns." I say
"Hiro you are burned? Let me scan you." Bay-Max says
"No, don't scan. It's just a expression." I say
"Scan complete." Bay-Max says
"Unbelievable!" I say
"You aren't burn or show any signs of injury or illness. But you are showing signs of nervousness and compassion, when around Ca-" Bay-Max says before I interrupt him.
"That's enough scanning for today." I say as y/n and Tadashi walk over to us.
