Chapter 6

                                 Haunted Love

𝐒𝐄𝐑𝐊𝐀𝐍'𝐒 𝐏𝐎𝐕:
Eda's car was parked outside my apartment. Has she been here the entire time? I think to myself as I unlock the door and walk inside. A few boxes are laid out across the floor some unopened, I kneel down and cautiously open one of the boxes. Inside are a bunch of photos in frames. Some of me and Eda, and some of Eda and the girls. I smile a wide smile when I see a framed photo of her and Sirius, I gently pick up the photo frame and run a single finger over the photo

"Serkan?" I hear Eda call "are you home?" she yells again. She must be upstairs

"Yes baby, I'm home" I call back as I put the photo frame down before making my way upstairs.

Once I'm upstairs I walk into my bedroom (which will hopefully turn into our room) and stop in my tracks, there she stands in all her glory looking as beautiful as ever. She's hanging what looks like women's clothing in my walk-in closet.

"What are you doing?" I quietly ask so as not to scare her into running

She stops what she's doing and turns to face me

"You asked me to move in with you and here I am." she says with the biggest smile I have ever seen before continuing "did you not want me to?" she asks and I swear I see her pout as her eyebrows draw together in confusion

"No, no! Of course not. I'm just surprised that's all" I say and walk over to her

Once I'm close enough I place a hand behind her head and bring her face to mine until our lips meet, she wraps her arms around my neck before pulling away and burying her head in the crook of my neck a smile tugging at the corners of her lips

"So... I take it your happy then?" she asks

"Very happy!" I say

"Really?!" she asks

"Really! I was thinking maybe you and I can spend some time together? Alone, just the two of us. no work, no phones, no interruptions, nothing just me and you" she pulls back to look at me

"What about Sirius?"

Of course Sirius, silly me how could I forget about our son

"He'll be here too if you want, but I asked my mom and she said she and Seyfi will look after him for the rest of the day so we can get some alone time, is that okay with you?"

𝐄𝐃𝐀'𝐒 𝐏𝐎𝐕:

I can't believe what I'm hearing right now. I drop my arms to the side and take a small step back, this is the first time Serkan's asked me for my opinion on something or asked me if I was okay with something genuinely with all jokes/seriousness aside. His eyebrows knit together in confusion

"Do you not want to do that? Of course, you wouldn't want to spend time with me alone" he inhales deeply before exhaling a long breath "honestly I wouldn't want to be alone with me either if I were you. You know what? Forget I said anything, it's okay" he says before leaning in to kiss my forehead

Does he think I don't want to be alone with him? I was just shocked that's all, now it was my turn to kiss him, I grab his face with both hands and bring his face closer to mine until our lips met in a soft yet passionate kiss

"It's a great idea Serkan" I say pulling back

He smiles

"Do you think so?"

"Yes, Serkan I do. and besides, it's a first for us to be home alone together all day with no distractions"

"What do you want to do?" I ask but quickly continues "maybe we could either go out to dinner or we could cook something?"
