Chapter 8

                               Be my valentine

𝐒𝐄𝐑𝐊𝐀𝐍'𝐒 𝐏𝐎𝐕:

Today is my first valentines day with Eda. I really want to make it special and one she'll never forget (I laugh involuntarily. One she'll never forget because I was the one that forgot) everything was ready and all that needed to be done was for me to get ready. I quietly and carefully slip out of bed, making my way into the kitchen.

I want to start the day off right so I'll make Eda breakfast in bed. While she slept I made us both breakfast, I also double-checked that everything was ready for tonight so that there won't be any delays or hiccups along the way. I can't have tonight being ruined. I've planned something extra special for tonight, I just hope Eda likes it as much as I do

It doesn't take long until our breakfast was ready. I place Eda's plate onto a tray along with a glass of juice and make my way back into our room. I notice Eda stir a little before she opened her eyes

"Good morning sunshine!" she says as she slowly sits up

"Good morning baby and happy valentines day!" I say and pass her the tray

She looks at me in complete shock at first which slowly turns into awe

"Breakfast in bed for me? Serkan you didn't have to!" she says with a wide smile

"I know. But I wanted to. Pancakes, whipped cream and berries. I love it thank you!" she says

I lean in and capture her lips in a deep sensual kiss before pulling back

"You're welcome my love!"

"Are you going to have breakfast with me?" she asks as I get to my feet

"Unfortunately no, I've actually got a few things that I need to take care of okay?"

I don't give her a chance to say anything further. I lean in and quickly press a kiss on her forehead before pulling away and making my way out the door. I take my coat from the coat hanger and grab my car keys

𝐄𝐃𝐀'𝐒 𝐏𝐎𝐕:

Serkan made me breakfast in bed which was thoughtful of him. I loved it, only I wish he was here enjoying breakfast in bed with me. I guess I've got to look on the bright side, with serkan busy I can get his valentines day surprise ready for tonight. I quickly finish eating and clean up but not before I get myself ready for the day.

Once that's all done I grab my phone from the nightstand and get everything ready for when Serkan comes back. I hope he likes my present. When everything's taken care of I sit and wait on the sofa

An hour later a familiar car pulls into the driveway, I make my way outside just as the doors open

"Good morning!" I say

"Good morning!" Melo says

"Morning" Ferit says

I had Melo and Ferit drive to the summer house with very important requests for them and thankfully they were fulfilled immediately

"Where is my Eniste?" Melo asks with a wide smile

"He's not here. He left this morning, apparently he had some business to take care of. It might be work-related. You know how he is" I say, both Ferit and Melo laugh

"Where do you want us to put all of this?" Ferit asks

"In the living room please" Ferit only nods before carrying Serkan's gifts into the house

Melo turns to me

"So.." she begins

"What did Eniste get you for valentines day?" She asks
