Epic Love

Chapter 4

                                          Stay

Serkan does the unimaginable and drops to his knees. His shoulders and head sag in defeat as if he's been holding the entire world on his shoulders. After a few minutes, he finally raises his head. He looks me in the eyes as if begging me to read them. In his eyes, I see guilt, love, loss, anger, pain and so many other emotions swirling around in them, he just couldn't hold that weight anymore. I watch stunned as this man who claims to be cold-hearted breaks down into tears

"Stay Eda!" his voice cracks as he asks me

"You want to be mad at me fine! You want me to leave you alone fine! You want me to make it up to you fine! You want me to feel pain fine! But don't you dare ask me to let you walk away! You wanted me to show you something well this is it! I'M A VICTIM IN THIS SITUATION TOO EDA! SELIN MANIPULATED ME, GOT INTO MY HEAD" he screams through sobs

"You don't think I feel what you've felt, right now? You don't think I've lost my mind?! I already have Eda! I lost my mind the minute that everything came flooding back to me! But what you need to remember is that this is not my fault! I love you Eda Yildiz! It's always been you, It's never been Selin"

"What about me Serkan?! You were so cold towards me when you came back and for what? Do you seriously expect me to forget the things that you said and did to hurt me and move on?!" I yell back.

I know it wasn't his fault and I also know we shouldn't be yelling at each other but I guess it's just something that we both needed

"I was in a plane crash Eda for god's sake! It's not my fault that I hit my head and ended up in the hospital!" he shakes his before continuing

"I'm sorry! What more do you want from me huh? What else do you want me to say... to do?! To make you see that I LOVE YOU!"

He screams I love you

"Do you want me to apologise for everything that I've ever said and done to you? Fine I'm sorry!" he shouts

Serkan suddenly stands up, looking around for something but I'm not quite sure what

He finds a glass cup similar to the one I had and throws it onto the floor. I watch in awe as it drops at his feet before shattering. Usually, it's me who smashes things not the other way around. When I think he's done he surprises me by picking up another cup and throwing it at the wall, I watch as he grabs a nearby vase, picking it up he gently takes the flowers out and sets them on a table before throwing the vase onto the floor. It surprised me when he took the flowers out before smashing the vase

I stand rooted to the spot as he picks up a glass bowl and throws it across the room followed by some plates. He then proceeded to grab anything he could get his hands on and  threw them onto the floor or at the walls from various cups, vases, papers he even picked up a wooden chair and threw it until it broke in half

By the time he was done breaking things, we were standing amongst a pile of broken objects. It was a mess

Pacing back and forth tugging at his hair Serkan suddenly stops abruptly and pulls out his wallet. He puts a single hand inside and pulls out what look like photos. The same photos that I had thrown down onto a table were being thrown onto a table in front of me

"THIS!" he says picking up a photo of us before continuing "this is me! This is the man you fell in love with! It's me Eda!"

I can't believe Serkan kept these. I thought for sure he would have either ripped them into pieces or put them in the trash

"I can't live without you Eda! I can't breathe when your not with me! Your my whole world! Your my life line!" he says before edding "Forgive me Eda please!" he asks through sobs and heaves for air
